This 1976 Porsche 914 2.0 was acquired by the seller in 2018 from a PCA member out of Indiana, who had reportedly removed the engine at 70k miles and replaced the clutch, oil cooler, all vacuum lines, the complete ignition system, engine mounts, transmission mounts, fuel lines, injectors, and more. The exterior was recently painted in silver Plasti-dip by the current owner in addition to brake service. This 914 2.0 is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Indiana accompanied by some spare parts.

The exterior has recently been repainted with silver Plasti-dip coating along with a checkered flag pattern over the original red decklid. Equipment includes a black textured top with a removable Targa roof panel, black rubber bumpers, pop-up headlights, dual exhaust outlets, chrome door mirrors, and a Porsche-branded tailight panel. The seller describes some blemishes on the left front fender and some minor dents on the driver’s side quarter panel, detailed images are provided in the gallery. The 15” Mahle wheels were reportedly refinished under previous ownership and come mounted with Toyo Proxes R1R from 2018.

The interior is trimmed in black vinyl upholstery with a matching bulkhead, carpeting, and door panels. Equipment includes a glovebox, manual window rollers, a suede-wrapped Sparco steering wheel, a wooden 917-style shift knob, VDO instrumentation, a 5-panel rearview mirror, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio. The seats are said to have been reupholstered under prior ownership and the seller notes that the gas gauge sticks intermittently.

This 914 is powered by an air-cooled 2.0L flat-four with Bosch electronic fuel injection, factory rated at 91 HP and 105 lb-ft of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission routes power to the rear wheels. A major engine-out service is said to have been carried out by the previous owner at 70k miles and the brakes are said to have been serviced more recently by the current owner.
