Produced for one year only, the 911SC Cabriolet was the first full open-top convertible Porsche 911. This European-market example comes finished in Grand Prix White over a black interior and features an upgraded ignition and electronic fuel injection system. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 84k miles on the odometer.

This 911SC comes finished in Grand Prix White with a black convertible top and features a Turbo-style front spoiler, chrome headlight rings, European-spec bumpers and side markers, red-painted brake calipers, and a set of 17” Cup-style wheels dressed in Sumitomo tires from 2000. Signs of wear are present throughout the exterior including imperfections on the hood and front fenders.

The black interior has been fitted with an aftermarket three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, grey “PORSCHE” logo floor mats, and an upgraded JVC head unit. Factory equipment includes power windows, heating, ventilation, and a locking glovebox.

The European-specification 3.0-liter flat-six engine was rated at 204 HP and drives the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine fan has been painted yellow and an upgraded MSD ignition has been installed along with an electronic fuel injection system and cross-drilled brake rotors.

This sale will include a clean title.

@berniea4 unfortunately the car did not meet reserve. It is now in DealTank where you may press the buy now button or make an offer for the seller to consider. Both options would be considered a binding sale should you choose to move forward. Thank you.

@live2drive_porsche no ac and it is a manual top from the factory never power. If I knew what the test was I would have it done tell me how to do it and I will. I have not owned the porsche since new and as you can see I am not well versed on them so I cannot tell whether the top is original or a replacement. If you know a way to tell I will look and let you know.

  • live2drive_porsche (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

I assume there is no A/C or has it been removed? Is the top manual and is it the original? Since there is no history, it would have been helpful to perform the leak down test. Reluctance to do this for bidders is somewhat surprising.

there is no rust and as we obtained the car thru an estate auction there is no history on any tests that were done nor have we done either of those tests. My be in the best interest of a perspective buyer to have a third party have the test done and provide perspective buyer the results of those tests

  • Roma (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

Would the Seller plz comment on any rust? In addition, has a compression and leak down test been performed recently, and if so, can the Seller plz share the results? THX
