The seller would like you to know: "This 1983 930 Turbo is an amazing car, it was completely overhauled several years ago and the engine was replaced with a 1981 motor that was built out to a 3.3 L and upgraded in every way shape or form, the engine produces about 500 hp. It also was upgraded with all internals car runs and drives and shifts flawlessly, and it was also fitted with a rebuilt G50 transmission from a 1989 turbo, I’ve had this car for a good amount of time now and it’s one of my favorite cars in my collection."

    I’m gonna be lowering the reserve, so hopefully the car will find a new home in this auction. Thanks for everyone who has viewed and participated. Good luck.

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @CRyanBishop and I also put the factory steering wheel back in and the 964 speed lines with brand new tires, such an amazing driving car. The pictures in the auction really don’t do it justice , so much fun very fast sounds amazing and shifts. Very nice.

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @CRyanBishop ahh ok Ty, yeah, I bought it a while ago. I transformed it into the 964 look and put the factory seats in it. Thanks for clarification

    I think @porsche997s is referencing when it sold as a slantnose configuration with the old wheels, seats, etc. VIN search online brings it up on topclassiccars website

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @AllanLambo rubber

    prior sale on classiccars-dot-com and carfax report are worth an investigation... matches VIN
    body panels, interior components, brakes, suspension, obviously engine modification, etc. all seem to be add-on
    modified engine is identified as a 930/09 ... I think that is a 911SC3.0 188hp (indicated in the previous sale)
    possibly this is a fantastic porsche hot-rod (500hp on a 3.0 rebuild, wow!), but i can't find any significant parts that indicate "930", other than the certificate.

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @Autotrend hi I do have a dealers license. This car is part of my personal collection so I can do a private sale or I can do it through my dealership whatever the buyer prefers, this is a Virginia title, I live in Virginia, I shipped the car to the Pcar facility for them to inspect and to do the auction pictures, videos, representation ect . so the car is currently at Pcar in New York, if the car does not sell It will be shipped back to Virginia and remain in my collection. thanks

  • Autotrend (registered bidder) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    you are listed as a dealer. is this car being sold on dealer paperwork or personal open title. is it ny title. last question the car is at PCAR at present?

  • Autotrend (registered bidder) 6 months, 2 weeksago

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @Porsche997s hi no it does not, thanks

  • Porsche997s (registered bidder) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @desertmoon have about 100 cars so I’m letting a few of my gems go

  • desertmoon (registered bidder) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    What make you decide to part with this ?

  • JMS935 6 months, 2 weeksago

    Seller may want to post an image of the transmission model number for clarification of what it actually is. The G50 (as stated in the auction listing) is a normally aspirated tranny for 911s, the turbo version of it is the G50/50. That’s kind of a big deal with 500 hp.

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @chaseturbo911 yeah I’ll get PCar to post them. Thanks.

  • chaseturbo911 6 months, 2 weeksago

    Hello, do you have maintenance records for the vehicle ? Thank you

  • RumbleAuto (registered bidder) 6 months, 2 weeksago

  • chuckent (registered bidder) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    are the fenders metal or fiberglass?

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 6 months, 2 weeksago

    @Treksman2 yes
