Produced in February of 1984 as one of only 346 examples for the U.S. market, this sought-after M491 Carrera features the wide fenders, spoiler, brakes, and suspension of the 911 Turbo. It has also been modified with 3-piece Autoart wheels, a limited-slip differential, and a carbon fiber front hood. The engine, transmission, and differential have been resealed and the brakes have been recently replaced along with the oil return pipes. Accompanied by original accessories, parts, service records, the factory Fuchs wheels, and the original front hood, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Quebec, Canada while showing approximately 58k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera is finished in Black and features wide Turbo-style fenders along with a distinctive Tea Tray rear spoiler as part of the M491 package. A lightweight exposed carbon fiber hood has been installed and a unique front valence is equipped which the seller believes to have been dealer-installed when the car was new.
