Up for auction is this well-executed 1986 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Slantnose conversion. Using only steel components, the previous owner commissioned a professional Turbo-look conversion that was done to a very high standard. As previously listed on PCARMARKET, this Slantnose is now being offered in excellent condition by its seller out of California with just 52k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in its original color of Guards Red, the exterior of this 911 shows to be in beautiful condition with paint protection film covering the front bumper, hood, fenders, and cowl. The commanding presence of this Carrera is due to a few key exterior features such as widened rear steel fenders, revised front fenders, upgraded front and rear bumpers, and a Turbo-style dual exhaust tip. Finishing off this look are a set chrome-finished Turbo-spec'd Fuchs wheels which come wrapped in BFGoodrich tires dated from 2015 with not many miles driven since.
At the time of the conversion, the owner also commissioned a refresh of the entire tan leather interior. This included new carpeting, refinished seats, refinished door panels, the installation of a period-correct upgraded center console, Porsche classic radio, and a 3.8 RS-style steering wheel. All components of the interior show to be in excellent condition with all electronics in working order.
This 911 retains its original 3.2 L flax-six engine that will deliver approximately 207 HP to the rear wheels via a 5-speed transmission. With only 52k miles driven, the car is stated to be in top mechanical condition with a recent service including new fluids and filters.
The sale will include a master key, books, original tool roll, and original air compressor.

@Z-Lab photos of the headlights up have been added to the gallery. The are circle like OEM cars. The item hanging from the dash is a part of the key chain, there is an additional key on that ring in the photos as well. I do not have records from the shop that performed the conversion, but as mentioned it is an all-steel conversion and the panels fit excellent.

One more thing. I’ve seen some struggle w/the windshield washer reservoir with these conversions. Is it a factory slantnose reservoir or a mod to existing reservoir?
Again, this is a beauty. And, I bet very fun to drive. Where it goes, heads turn and smiles revealed... even with masks!
Very nicely done can you post pictures with headlights in the up position and on?
Also, in the picture of the steering wheel and dash taken from outside the driver’s door, what is the object hanging from under the dash just to the left of key fob? What shop did the conversion? I love the interior color w/ the guards red package.
