Up for auction is this 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo presented in Guards Red over a black leather interior. Featuring desirable factory options and some tasteful modifications including an upgraded exhaust system and intercooler, this handsome 1986 example remains in fantastic overall condition for its age. Having undergone a recent comprehensive service totaling over $6k, this Turbo is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Texas showing approximately 86k well-documented miles on the odometer.
Finished in traditional Guards Red, this 930’s exterior is shown to be in great condition while exhibiting some age-appropriate wear and a few touch-ups. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery. Representing Porsche’s flagship sports car, this sought-after 930 Turbo can be distinguished by its widened fenders and iconic “tea tray” rear spoiler. Noteworthy features include an optional rear window wiper, polished Fuchs wheels and an aftermarket euro-style front valence with integrated fog lights.
The black leather upholstered cabin is stated to be in fantastic shape with all gauges, electrical components and accessories remaining fully functional. Factory options include a power operated sunroof, power windows, electric powered Sport seats, a steering wheel with elevated hub and air conditioning with heavy-duty blower. The seller notes that an upgraded head unit has been installed along with new door speakers resulting in greatly improved audio quality.
Power comes from an original air-cooled 3.3L flat six turbocharged engine rated at 282 HP stock. The rear wheels are driven by way of a number’s matching 4-speed manual transmission with a factory 40% locking differential making for a pure and visceral driving experience. An upgraded Billy Boat exhaust system has been installed along with a larger intercooler providing a healthy increase in horsepower. A recent $6,800 service was carried out which included fluid and filter changes, shifter repair, new front struts and new ball joints. A compression test was also performed during this time which yielded satisfactory results. Up to date on all scheduled service, this Turbo is reported to be in excellent driving condition.

@Lottacars I have only owned it since November. Selling it because of the current situation. Not currently working so somethings got to go. Hate selling it because it is my dream car but gotta do what I gotta do. Sorry, I am not as advanced as you with cars. I just love the way it looks. I don't know what respirated is either. I definitely have not but not sure for previous owners.
@cfinnigan it is a gauge to measure thickness of paint to see where repainted have been done. How long have you owned it, have your respirated anywhere and did previous owners?
@Lottacars Not familiar with a paint reading. DME has not been done while I have owned the vehicle.

@JNasty A/C was reconnected and works since that picture was taken. Intercooler and Billy Boat Exhaust are the only mods. Factory exhaust included in sale.
