Showing just over 65k miles on the odometer this Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

The exterior is finished in Black (L700) and features removable Martini Racing stripes as well as upgraded LED projector headlamps, a front oil cooler scoop, and black stone guards over the rear fenders. A set of custom 8"x17" front and 11"x17" rear Braid wheels have been installed and dressed in Nitto tires from 2018, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this Turbo is trimmed in Cancan Red and Black (70) Special Leather upholstery with contrasting black carpets and a custom leather dashboard with deviated red stitching. Additions include a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, a black leather MOMO shift knob, custom Lloyds floor mats, a Martini-themed ignition surround, black aluminum door handles, red-striped seatbelts, and an Alpine Bluetooth radio. All instrumentation has been updated with LED lighting and the tachometer was repositioned and painted Cancan Red by North Hollywood Speedometer.

Under current ownership, the air-cooled 3.3L flat-six engine was completely rebuilt and upgraded including new crank and rod bearings, oil tubes, ARP hardware, SC cams by Webbcams, new rockers, seals, fuel lines, fuel pumps, larger injectors, and a Rarely8 performance warm up regulator. Other upgrades include Rarely8 tuned headers and muffler, a Fasbpeed intercooler, BMS air filter, and a Classic Retrofit CDI box. The 4-speed manual gearbox was also rebuilt during this time with new synchros and seals along with modified gearing for improved street performance. Other items addressed during the engine rebuild included the replacement of the engine insulation pad, A/C lines, and brake pads.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, some documentation, and a collection of original parts.

@Gdelatour Im glad your not offended. I think its best to look at the $400k+ vintage Porsche's are doing with their engine bays and follow suit. You never know how long it will be till the average price a 930's reaches the same level!

  • Gdelatour (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@redgard thanks for your thoughts, the tin is black and the shroud can be easily power coated black, Gun metal or even silver. I will consider it in the future for my other 930’s. Thank you.

  • gassian 1 year, 8 monthsago

@redgard agree with you 100%, just personally i am not a fan of multi color engine bay. Other than that surprised it did not go higher than 111k

  • redgard (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

I wanted to wait till after the bidding to make this comment.
I totally love the stripes on this car.. but the powder coating of the engine tin and fan shroud spoils the cars historic appeal for me and is so much harder to remove then the stripes . I really hope this isn't a trend.

I sold my 87 930, It ran good, But if it had had the work this one does I would have wanted a lot more for it, not all orig or not, This work cost a pretty penny, These cars are not Nissan Turbos, They require a deep wallet to work on, But, On the other hand, They are a PORSCHE !! This is a Nice Car !!!! I am tempted, But my left knee was replaced and it never really came back like it should have, Make it a tiptronic and I will bid !!!!!

Wanted to share more info on the car. All the fuel lines were replaced, all oil lines were replaced, relays replaced, both fuel pumps replaced, fuel accumulator and filter, ignition coil, and CDI box was upgraded to a Classic Retrofit solid state CDI box for reliability and peace of mind. She can be a garage queen, where you are admiring those deep dark curves but she has the heart of Warrior, handling the curves!
    Definitely turnkey!

If you are looking for a modified 930 this is THE ONE! I've had the pleasure to see this car in various stages of customization. The new owner will benefit for a very meticulous seller. I know first hand just how much detail and thought went into this build. One thing I've learned from knowing @Gdelatour is that when he does something he goes all in. Hopefully, this is the first example of many more to come from him. GLWA

@Fede Thanks for those nice and true words.

Never driven this car but I know the owner and his “hot” Porsche garage. Those cars are kept meticulously and every detail is kept in great shape by professionals (interior…. Engine…..)

@luis.seneriz it has 390 hp and 404 torque. It is a conservative tune, a little more can be squeezed out. There is a picture and dyno video available.

    @Gdelatour great, thank you

  • Gdelatour (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@jaredq22 great question. The AC system has been totally revamped using the Griffiths ice cold system. From replacing the evap, therm, all AC lines, drier, all condensers, adding 4 condenser fans and their thermo switch that results on average 36 degrees at ducts. As for heater, due to the choice of having a tuned header system for power, I opted for tubes without a heater box. All of can be done with new owners choice. Everything is there to connect.

Can you speak to the A/C and climate control? Any issues there?

Hello everyone, I am offering a truly exciting machine for the next possible owner. I fell in love with the 930 in 2016, going to car shows and getting to hang out with one of the most down to earth 911 guys and gals. My friend found this car for me, a California car ( no rust) garage kept beautiful 930. I proceeded to do my research on how to optimize the platform for a driver. I don’t know about any of you, I don’t like to get stranded by a mechanical issue in a car? I had the wonderful guys at European auto center, a racer and Porsche collector drop the engine and trans to rebuild and reseal. While there, I added improvements to performance, reliability and comfort. I also wanted to pay tribute to my favorite 90’s racing team ( Martini Racing ) through the car. Because of this romance, I now rebuild Porsche air cooled engines. I am here to answer any questions you may have.
