Up for auction is this exemplary 1987 Porsche 930 Turbo presented in black over a specially ordered Champagne leather interior. Having undergone over $15k worth of documented service over the past few years, this 1987 example is said to remain in impeccable, highly original condition with all tags and stickers still in place. Highlighting factory options including a power operated sunroof and iconic Fuchs wheels, this Turbo shows approximately 64k miles on the odometer and represents an incredible opportunity for a discerning air-cooled enthusiast.
The black finish on this 930 is shown to remain in great condition with some mild signs of age-appropriate wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The seller indicates that an extensive professional detail was recently carried out at a cost of approximately $2k. Noteworthy features include seductive wide fenders, a distinctive “tea tray” rear spoiler and factory Fuchs wheels in black.
The specially ordered Champagne leather upholstered cabin is said to be in excellent original condition. A couple of small holes have been left behind from an old cell phone mount which can be seen near the center console in the photo gallery. Factory options include a black velour luggage compartment, a power operated sunroof, left-seat lumbar support, an alarm system and Blaupunkt radio. The seller notes that some weathered body seals have been recently replaced along with the sunroof felt and confirms that all gauges, electrical components and accessories are fully functional.
This 930 carries its original air-cooled 3.3L turbocharged flat-six engine which sends 282HP to the rear wheels by way of a number’s matching 4-speed manual transmission. A comprehensive service was carried out by Butzigear and Wheeler Auto Service in CT, two well respected Porsche specialty shops in the area. Over $10k was spent to bring this car up to the owner’s standards which included mechanical service, A/C system maintenance, ignition system refurbishment and the installation of a new battery. There have been no performance modifications installed on this Turbo and it is said to remain in phenomenal driving condition.

@sculptedmetal - Thank you sir! The paint appears mostly original and all the factory vin tags are in place. There are some normal rock chips and dings in the front as you'd expect.
Yes the cam housing leak was addressed and leak free. Passenger door card photo is my body causing a shadow in the shot, sun was behind me.

Yeah thats pretty funny to ask what your reserve is in a auction. LOL some times you have to wonder I guess its a left over thing from Ebay so is the snipping bidding mentality I see at Auctions. With Time endings and the reset button those days are gone.

@Deanster there are two soft ding/scuffs on the original muffler yes. Happened at some point unloading car from trailer.
Is that impact damage on muffler?
