We are pleased to offer this 1988 BMW E32 750iL finished in Bronzit Beige Metallic over a Parchment leather interior. Representing the second generation of BMWs flagship 7-Series luxury sedan, the E23 chassis was one of the most technologically advanced cars of its time, introducing modern features like active suspension, CANBUS electronic control systems, projector headlamps, traction control, and BMW’s first production V12 engine. Delivered new to Maine in August of 1988, this 750iL has been treated to a lifetime of documented service while remaining under the care of its original owner and is now being offered for auction showing just over 95k miles.

This E32 was ordered in Bronzit Beige Metallic (139) with chrome-accented side moldings and features projector headlamps, integrated fog lights, a V12-specific kidney grille, and L-shaped taillights. Compared to the standard 750i, this long-wheelbase model (iL) offers 4.5” more legroom for the rear passengers. The car is said to have been undriven during the winter and the seller indicates no evidence of rust. The factory 15” Style 3 wheels are in need of new tires and the seller notes minor cosmetic damage to the trunk lid, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The interior is trimmed in Parchment leather with burl wood accents across the dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear-window sunshade, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a BMW car phone, and an onboard computer as well as power windows, locks, and mirrors.

The 750iL is equipped with a 5.0L M70 V12 factory rated at 295 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. This 7-Series has enjoyed a lifetime of service through BMW dealers and local specialty shops including the recent replacement of the shock absorbers, springs, and struts, as well as a new ignition cap, rotor, spark plugs, and wires.

This sale will include the original owner's manuals and a clean title.

    @allcarsgerman Dear Sir,

    No faults need to be taken care of, except for the power steering fluid.

    The service records are in the warranty/service book which was stamped and signed by the dealer:
    please scroll through our posted photos and you will see the photos of said manual and service records.

    Also included in our posted photos are photos of the muffler. The car is clean underneath just like it is on the outside, with no rust. Also there is an extensive list of service and new parts, brakes, tune up, etc which were recently made on the vehicle.

    A now-rare BMW, as most became too expensive to maintain and repair. Questions: does it need to have any faults taken care of, such as A/C, electrical system, exhaust? Can you post service records? If a one owner car they should be available. Would like to see underbody photos, that would be a must before bidding. Last, is it still titled to original owner?
