Now available for auction is this 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Black over a matching interior. Originally delivered to New Jersey in November of 1987, this Carrera is equipped with the desirable G50 5-speed manual transmission and was optioned with a power-operated soft top, 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels, and a Blaupunkt SQR 46 radio. The vehicle has spent time in New York, Nebraska, and Florida, where it was regularly serviced by a European specialty shop. Showing approximately 54k on the odometer, this classic air-cooled Cabriolet is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Florida.
This 911 was ordered in Black (L700) with a matching power convertible soft top and boot cover. Exterior equipment includes integrated fog lights, black stone guards, a decklid-mounted third brake light, and polished 16” Fuchs wheels with colored center crests and new Pirelli P-Zero Rosso Assimetrico tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior includes power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, an analog clock, and aftermarket stainless steel treadplates with Carrera logos. The sound system has been upgraded with a newer Blaupunkt radio.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six which produces up to 217 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels by way of a G50 5-speed manual gearbox. The fuel pump relay, ECU power relay, alternator belt, air conditioning belt, and speed and reference sensors were replaced in 2017 by a European specialty shop, in addition to an A/C freon charge and oil service. The convertible top was professionally replaced in March of 2022, as well as the clutch master cylinder.
This sale will include a clean title, some service records, a stamped dealer maintenance booklet, and a car cover.

AC was completely redone by Foreign Affairs (please see the receipt in photos) and it is ice cold functioning perfectly.
The power top in brand new and functions perfectly (I will submit videos now)
