We are pleased to present this exceptional 1988 Porsche 930 “Special Wishes” Slantnose with RUF upgrades. This 930 was ordered through Porsche’s Special Wishes program as a genuine M505 Slantnose variant painted in Grand Prix White over a Lipstick Red special leather interior. After production, this 930 was sent to RUF where it received BTR-spec upgrades including revised front and rear bumpers, a K27 turbocharger, a performance exhaust, Speedline wheels, and other desirable modifications. Showing only 20,533 kilometers (12,758 miles) on the odometer while remaining in impeccable condition, this remarkable Porsche 930 is now being listed for auction by its seller in Miami.
This 930 is said to have been professionally refinished in its original Grand Prix White color under previous ownership. As an M505 optioned example, this Turbo is factory equipped with steel “Flachbau” fenders, boxed rockers, and rear fender flares with air intakes. Upon arrival at RUF, the cosmetics were upgraded to BTR-specifications with revised front and rear bumpers, a RUF rear designation, and RUF’s signature 5-spoke wheels. Some other noteworthy details include European-market side markers, a factory Tea Tray rear spoiler, aero mirrors, a painted center taillight insert, and quad-tipped RUF exhaust. The underbody is noted to be in pristine condition and the paint is said to be in great shape with only a handful of slight imperfections (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).
Inside, this 930 is configured with a two-tone Black and Lipstick Red special leather interior (HB). The cabin is said to be in excellent condition, although some small holes have been indicated on the door panels which are believed to have been leftover from previously installed aftermarket speakers. Other features include a radio delete, a KMH speedometer, and RUF floormats. Factory options selected for this example also include a power-operated sunroof, limited slip differential, alarm system and velour carpeting for the trunk compartment.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.3 L turbocharged flat-six engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox and factory limited slip differential. This example has also been specially tuned and upgraded by RUF with a K27 turbocharger, “Big Red” rear brakes, and a sport exhaust system. The original "Special Wishes" exhaust system is also included and this 930 is said to drive beautifully with all routine service up to date.
This sale will include a set of 2 keys, the original books and tools, a spare tire, CD changer, the factory exhaust system, and a clean title. This incredibly unique 930 makes the perfect addition to any world-class Porsche collection, do not let this opportunity pass you by.

@maineman Yes the car spent time in Europe and was later imported back to USA. We are currently working on getting the RUF papers, but it takes a little time. Hence the side markers and cluster in KM.
So this is a USA car evidenced by the VIN and a factory slantnose as indicated by the "505" option on the under hood sticker. Where was the work done - USA or Germany? The description says "sent to Ruf". Why would Euro side markers and KPH speedo be installed? Did it spend time in Europe after delivery in the USA or was it picked up in Germany under the Euro delivery program?

Perfection.
@Vysock_guy his daily is actually a 964 RCT Evo with 176K km on it. Just a fun fact...
@Vysock_guy very good point - we are working on it, the owner has multiple RUF original W09 cars are we requested the docs from RUF. We should have it soon hopefully as he’s currently in Germany, agree with you in the docs. Thank you !
Hello. Very clean and beautiful Turbo. Do you happen to have the Ruf documentation showing it was a BTR partial conversion/upgrade? As a former owner of a '91 Ruf RCT, this is very important for proper valuation and history on the car, but I don't see it anywhere in the description. Thank you
