The third generation A70 Toyota Supra debuted in 1986, featuring a totally new body style and Toyota's top performance engine at the time, the 7M-GTE inline-six. This 1989 Supra Sports Top is a "White Package" car, finished in White over a Burgundy leather interior and featuring a desirable 5-speed manual transmission paired with a turbocharged 3.0-liter engine. This Supra was recently serviced including a rebuilt motor, turbocharger, and clutch, as well as the fitment of cross-drilled brake rotors and new adjustable suspension components. Now showing approximately 182k miles on the odometer, this Supra is being offered at auction by its seller out of California.
This A70 Supra is finished in White and rides on satin black 19" Niche wheels. The seller states the original wheels are also included as part of the sale. A carbon-fiber textured wrap has been applied to the hood and removable Sports Top, and TRD badges have been affixed to the front quarter panels and front grill. The seller notes that the car was repainted in 2005 and some areas have faded on the hood, Sport Top, and hatch. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Burgundy leather interior was reupholstered in 2021 and includes power windows and locks, a power driver's seat with lumbar controls, and a factory alarm system. The original dashboard shows some cracks and retains all original radio switches and control buttons. A small repair is noted on the center console and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
This A70 Toyota Supra is equipped with a 7M-GTE engine rated at 230 HP and 246 lb.-ft of torque. Power is routed through a 5-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. Stopping power is supplemented by new aftermarket drilled brake discs. An aftermarket air intake, front strut tower brace, and Megan Racing rear strut tower bar have also been fitted as well as a replacement stainless-steel exhaust with catalytic converters. Extensive work carried out in 2021 included an engine rebuild, new under-the-hood electronics and wiring, a new turbocharger, custom aluminum intercooler piping, and a new aluminum radiator. The ABS pump has been rebuilt, although an ABS warning light is present on the dashboard resulting from a faulty wheel sensor.

Cool Car, I didn't see it in your images but might have missed it. Was the throw out bearing replaced in the clutch kit? I just saw the old throw out bearing on the clutch fork in the trans image. thanks,
