Available for auction is an illuminated Ferrari sign thought to be from the 1990s. The seller states the sign was originally from a Ferrari appointed service center in England. The sign measures approximately 30” inches in height, 28” inches in length with a width of 4 ½” inches. The sign’s enclosure is constructed of aluminum with a transparent yellow plastic face. The sign features the Ferrari logotype and Ferrari Cavallino Rampante with the tri-color Italian flag running across the top.

The seller states the sign is in good condition with only minor weathering present. Though originally designed for the outdoors, the seller states a protective screen was removed upon purchase due to scratches and is no longer part of the sign and it is now advised to use the sign only indoors. The internal sign components are accessed via the sign’s removable face. In an effort to preserve the signs originality, the seller elected to refresh the original fluorescent lighting and wiring. The sign is currently wired to a UK plug and works flawlessly.

Don’t miss your chance to own an authentic piece of Ferrari automobilia with this near perfect, original Ferrari sign. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

@Cmozz Good morning, thank you for getting in touch. The estimated shipping cost with FedEx will be approximately $450 for shipping to Colorado and the majority of the USA.

    Kind regards

Hi - do you have any shipping estimates to Colorado? Thanks!

    @dino70089 Good morning,

Unfortunately I do not know why there are additional holes unless the backing plate has been added afterwards. This could quite possibly be the explanation but unfortunately I can not confirm.

    Kind regards

I count roughly (9) unused holes on the backplate. Do you know what they were used for? Between the screws present and those unused holes, that's a lot of holes for a backplate.

@dino70089 Good evening, thank you for the comments and for getting in touch.

I believe the backing plate has to be removed first of all to allow the sign to be attached to the wall surface. Alternatively, a set of support hooks could be purchased that the screws can fit through along the top of the rear plate (similar to d-clips for picture frames) and that would allow the sign to be hung with relative ease.

I just want to note that the sign did have a plastic covering that protected the front but that was sadly not usable due to damage. I am hoping to have a replacement plastic screen protector made to measure and professionally fitted as well, just waiting to hear back from some local firms with a quote.

    Many thanks

There doesn't appear to be any method to mount this sign on a wall...no mounting points on the back or the top.

Hello everyone and thank you for viewing this auction.

This is a superb piece of advertising and automotive art to display in the garage, office or even the home.

Please take your time to read over the listing and to view the additional photographs in the gallery.

Winning the auction and what happens next:

As many of you may know, the great team at PCarmarket offers a combination of very special and unique items for sale via auction. The format is simple - every week day a new hand picked selection of items is presented to the public and everyone is welcome to place a bid for those items.

Each auction lasts for 7 days. At the end of the auction the item will either be sold to the highest bidder, or the item may appear in the PCarmarket ‘Deal Tank’ if the ‘reserve’ has not been met. The Deal Tank allows for offers to be made on the item and also to purchase the item immediately.

When the item has officially been sold, both the buyer and the seller receive an email almost instantly with the other parties contact details. At this very point in the sales process, the buyers registered credit/bank card is charged for the PCarmarket commission and the final balance of the item in question is settled between both parties.

    Packaging & Shipping:

Every item submitted to the PCarmarket website can be shipped almost anywhere in the world using companies such as UPS or FedEx.

I always do all that I can to ensure items are packaged professionally and safely. I do not charge for the actual packaging of the items as I have an abundance of shipping material in storage. The only cost would be for the actual courier itself.

    Shipping Crates & Specialist Packaging:

In certain situations a shipping crate may be required for certain items and this may even be a special request of the winning bidder to ensure the safe delivery of the item in question.

Unless a shipping crate has been specified in the listing or in the comments section, then this will incur an additional cost to the shipping price as the crate would need to be commissioned by a specialist manufacturer (a 7-10 day turnaround time on average would be a fair estimate).

There would be no additional fees to organise the crate production (only the cost of the crate itself would be required and for it to be paid for in advance of production). I do appreciate the delicate nature of some items will benefit greatly from this. To enable a fair and balanced sale of these cherished items, I am happy to spend the time involved to have this request fulfilled if desired.

If anyone has any questions please just let me know as I am always happy to help in any way that I can.

Due to my current working and personal commitments and the time zone difference, there may be a slight delay in my response. However, I will always reply as soon as I can.

Thank you once again to everyone for the interest you have shown and I wish you all the very best of success in the auction.
