For the first time since 1973, the Skyline GT-R rejoined Nissan’s model range in 1989 as the R32 model which was designed to compete in Group A class racing with a new twin-turbocharged RB26DETT engine paired with the ATTESA all-wheel-drive system. This 1991 example comes finished in Gunmetal Grey Metallic and features upgraded HKS Hipermax coilovers, an HKS intercooler kit, Alamo-rebuilt turbochargers, an Apexi engine management system, an electronic boost controller, Advan Racing wheels, N1-style vents, and a host of Nismo interior accessories. The car was imported from Japan to Canada where it is now being offered for auction with just over 109k kilometers on the odometer.
Based on the standard R32 Skyline model, the GT-R features wider fenders and side skirts, a larger rear wing, and a more aggressive front bumper & grille design. This 1991 example is finished in Gunmetal Grey Metallic and has been modified with N1-style front vents, clear turn signals, and 18” Advan Racing TC4R wheels dressed in Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires (2019). The seller notes the original 16” 5-spoke forged wheels are included as well. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The righthand drive cockpit is trimmed in black & grey upholstery and features an aftermarket Nismo steering wheel as well as a Nismo speedometer, shift knob, and rear carpet kit. A pair of custom Coco floor mats have also been added along with an aftermarket Turbo Timer. Accessories include power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, automatic climate control, and a factory AM/FM cassette stereo with PRO Acoustic Equalizer Sound. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
This R32 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline six-cylinder engine that was factory rated at 280 HP and 266 lb.-ft of torque. It drives all four wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission paired with an ATTESA all-wheel drive system. The seller notes the turbochargers were rebuilt by Alamo and the engine has been upgraded with an HKS intercooler kit, wastegate, and fuel pressure regulator as well as an Apexi Power FC engine management system, Apexi air intakes, an electronic boost controller, and a Mishimoto radiator. The suspension also includes upgraded HKS Hipermax coilovers. The seller adds that routine oil and filter changes have been kept up to date.
This sale will include a clean title and a set of factory wheels.
