Now available for auction is this 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet presented in black over a black partial leather interior. Introduced in 1989, the 964 generation debuted some major technical advancements including power steering and ABS brakes as standard. This 1991 Cabriolet had been under the care of its original owner up until 2005 when the seller purchased the car at 17k miles. Said to have been carefully maintained and sparingly driven over the past 15 years, this 964 remains in outstanding condition with approximately 32k miles showing on the odometer.
Reported to have been garaged for most of its life, the black finish on this Carrera is shown to be in excellent condition with only a few blemishes (detailed images are available in the photo gallery). The seller states that the front cowl and windshield frame were professionally refinished to a small area of rust near the front windshield wiper. This 964 remains entirely stock in appearance with factory D90 wheels currently dressed in older Bridgestone tires.
Inside, the black partial leather interior is said to be in fantastic shape with all gauges and accessories working properly. Factory options include the Technic Package as well as a full power-operated driver seat. The air conditioning system is also said to have been converted to use R134 refrigerant.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6 L flat-six engine which is rated at 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a G50 5-speed manual transmission making for a 0-60 time of approximately 5.5 seconds. Annual oil and filter changes have been performed, and the seller notes that a preemptive 30k mile service was carried out in 1999 at only 13k miles. Accompanied by many service records, this Cabriolet is said to be in ideal driving condition.
The sale of this 964 will include a set of two keys, original books and tools, service records, the original window sticker and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Do not miss out on this beautifully presented Porsche 964 Cabriolet.

The cowl and windshield frame were repainted In 2005 because there was a small rust spot under the windshield behind the passenger side wiper. A small piece Of metal was welded in. There has been no problem since. I have original shop invoice describing work and price paid for repair.
