We are pleased to offer for auction this 1994 Porsche Turbo 3.6 finished in unique Paint To Sample Tahoe Blue.  Due to its impressive performance numbers and aggressive look, the 3.6 Turbo became a cultural icon in the mid-1990’s.  It would then go on to become one of the most desirable Porsche models even in today’s market.  With only 1,427 3.6 Turbo's produced worldwide, it would be a near-impossible task to find one finished in this unique and eye catching color, making this one that much more special.  This 2-owner example was purchased new at Rusnak Porsche in California by Otis Chandler, publisher of the Los Angeles Times.  It remained local ever since.  Well-documented and well-maintained, the current seller states that the car comes with a clean bill of health and is now being offered with 100k miles showing on the odometer.

Finished in the striking Paint to Sample color of Tahoe Blue, this Turbo surely stands out from other examples.  The paint is said to be in exceptional cosmetic condition with only minor road going wear showing (please view gallery photos for a true depiction of this Turbo’s condition).  The seller states that a small, documented repair was performed to the driver’s quarter panel and was done to a very high standard (receipts of work will be provided in the photo gallery).  The seller also added that the car has the presence of a car with far less mileage than are actually on this car.  A few key features of this 3.6 Turbo include an iconic integrated whale tail spoiler as well as factory Speedline wheels that wear a set of Bridgestone Potenza tires with excellent tread.  Additional factory options include heated/power mirrors, washer nozzles, front/rear stabilizer bars, and 4 piston calipers with ventilated disc brakes. 

The tan leather interior shows to be in exceptional condition especially when considering the age and mileage, exhibiting only minimal wear.   A few key features include a factory sunroof, powered sport seats and a light rootwood shift knob.  A welcome upgrade in this vehicle is the Porsche Classic Radio with bluetooth capability and GPS.  Additional standard options on the 3.6 Turbo include power windows, climate control, and 2+2 folding rear seats.  Overall, when looking at the car as well as the extensive documentation that it comes with, it is safe to say that this Turbo has been extremely well-preserved over the years. 

Power comes from a 3.6L turbocharged flat-six engine (M64/60) that develops a healthy 355HP with performance that is impressive even by today’s standards.  The car is equipped with ABS assisted braking, desirable 5-speed manual transmission, and power steering.  The seller notes that a binder full of service records will show how well-maintained this Turbo has been throughout its life with almost all service work performed at Rusnak Porsche and The Auto Gallery in California.  The seller states that the car is not in need of any service items at the time of sale and that is in turn-key condition.
