We are pleased to present this 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 NAS converted to a Defender 110 Crew Cab 300 TDi. This Land Rover began life as NAS Defender 90 #1811 and was originally delivered to Colorado in November of 1994. In 2004, the experts at Rover Barn of Marshville, North Carolina, carefully converted the Defender 90 into a Defender 110 Crew Cab using a factory CKD kit. Assembled by factory-trained technicians. this Land Rover received a 300 Tdi engine, an R-380 5-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, 4-wheel disc brakes, 16” OEM “Deep Dish” wheels, and more. This Defender is now being offered out of Nevada, having covered approximately 15k miles since its conversion and 64k miles in total.
This Defender was completely refinished in the current shade of green during its conversion. Equipment includes Bearmach side steps, font and rear light guards, mudflaps, stainless steel tow rings, Gwyn Lewis undercarriage mud shields, a 2-way tailgate with galvanized steel hinges and stainless-steel latches, a custom quick-detach luggage rack, a Defender 90 rear step bumper, and a Waterproof marine cloth tonneau cover. It rides on a set of OEM 16” ''Deep Dish” wheels dressed in Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires from 2006. The wheels are secured with machined stainless steel lug nuts and 1” spaces provide a more aggressive stance.
The cabin is upholstered in a grey twill vinyl material and the front and rear seats are protected under premium sheepskin covers. Features include fresh air dashboard vents, molded EXMoor floor matting, OEM removable floor mats, a load space liner, a leather cubby box lid, and roll-up windows. Air Conditioning is said to have been installed in 2017 and the seller confirms that all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter 300TDi turbodiesel inline 4-cylinder engine driving all four wheels by way of an R380 5-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a Salisbury (Dana) rear differential. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes. Service is said to include a new cylinder head in 2018 as well as a new clutch master cylinder, Optima battery, and Pitman arm rebuild with new tie rods ends in 2021. The engine is said to have been serviced most recently in January 2022.
This sale will include a clean title.
