Available for auction is this 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet finished in Polar White over a grey leather interior. This 1994 example was sold new in Florida before moving to Pennsylvania and joining a private collection from which it was acquired by the seller. Having since undergone a number of services including replacement of the battery, tires, and engine sensors, this A124 E-Class is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
This A124 comes finished in Polar White with a power-retractable cabriolet top in black. Equipment includes headlight washers and wipers, a power antenna, and 15″ eight-hole alloy wheels dressed in a set of newer Michelin Defender tires. The seller notes some minor scuff marks on the corners of the bumpers, detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX.
The four-seater cabin is trimmed in grey leather and accented by burl wood veneers on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power-adjustable front seats with driver’s position memory, and a glass rear window with a defroster. Under the care of the seller, the air conditioning system received a new expansion valve and recharge while the convertible top headliner was replaced as well as the radio antenna, driver seat switches, and overhead courtesy lights. The seller notes that slight wear is visible on the center armrest, and confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from an M104 3.2L inline 6-cylinder engine rated at 217 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission. The wiring harness and convertible hydraulic system are said to have been serviced under prior ownership. More recent maintenance completed in preparation for sale included new crankshaft and knock sensors, a new battery, new wiper blades, a front-end alignment, and an oil and filter change.
