One of the less common versions of the Porsche 993, this 1995 Carrera 4 Cabriolet comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a Midnight Blue interior. It features a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to all four wheels as well as a set of custom chromed Turbo-look rims and chrome exhaust tips. The car was first registered in Connecticut before moving to Virginia in 2004 where it has been recently serviced and is now being offered for auction showing just over 81k miles on the odometer.
One of the quintessential Porsche colors of the 1990s, this 993 comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic with a new dark blue cabriolet top and matching tonneau cover. The Carrera 4 is also distinguished by silver brake calipers and lettering on the rear decklid. The 17” Turbo-look wheels have received a chrome finish and come dressed in new Continental ExtremeContact tires. Aftermarket chrome exhaust tips have been fitted and the finish is described to have been kept in good overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with an accident-free CARFAX report.
Inside, this Cabriolet sports Midnight Blue partial leather upholstery including an optional 8-way power-operated driver’s seat. Other equipment includes automatic air conditioning, cruise control, a sound system, an aftermarket radio, and an aftermarket cupholder console. The seller reports normal signs of wear and confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional. The CARFAX report shows a potential odometer rollback that may have resulted from a clerical error during an inspection in 2012. The seller contests the mileage shown on the odometer is accurate.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine develops up to 272 HP and 243 lb.-ft of torque which is distributed to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The CARFAX report shows maintenance performed by German Auto Group and BMW Roanoke of Virginia since 2019. The most recent service at BMW Roanoke in May of 2022 included an oil change, new tires, brake fluid flush, and general inspection.

My previous posting was meant for another 993 that is currently being auctioned on this site. My apologies. I have actually spoken with the selling dealer for this car and totally get it why he doesn’t have the records.
At the risk of stating the obvious, keeping detailed records is part of responsible car ownership. It demonstrates unequivocally that the car has been properly maintained and cared for during your time of ownership. Until I read this thread, I had never come across Porsche owners who failed to do so. This car is beautiful, and the Carfax report does indicate that the vehicle has been serviced regularly , but as a long time Porsche owner, I find it very surprising that the owner didn’t keep any records at all.

Drives and handles well. Very tight drivetrain, good clutch, smooth motor. Previously owned by an adult lady and has been garaged. I have metered the paint and the reading show paint to be original on all panels. Recent service done in our BMW shop. This is a nice car.
