We are pleased to present this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere Beige partial leather interior. Highlighting over $30k in documented service and maintenance records, this 1996 example remains in outstanding driving condition. Accompanied by original books, records and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this Carrera Cabriolet is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
The classic Guards Red finish on this 993 is shown to be in excellent condition. The seller notes that the bumpers and rear quarter panels have been professionally refinished by a Porsche specialist. Records indicate that a new cabriolet top transmission and control arm were installed in September of 2018. This Carrera rides on beautifully refinished factory 17” alloy wheels which come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
This 993 sports a Cashmere Beige partial leather interior with decorative burl wood trim. Factory features include air conditioning, cruise control, and a power-operated driver’s seat. The interior is said to be in excellent shape with all gauges, electrical components and accessories fully functional. The seller indicates that a Porsche CDR-210 radio was installed in February of 2017 along with new speakers. A specially commissioned lightweight cabriolet top cover will be included in-sale.
Powering this Carrera is an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine rated at 282 HP and 243 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a crisp 6-speed manual transmission making for a claimed 0-60 time of approximately 5.4 seconds. I keep coming back to this 993 admiring it’s classic color combo. I also appreciate the owner’s careful summary of the maintenance work.
Being a ‘96 this has the Varioram engine which produced 282HP and 250TQ. The specs quoted in the writeup are for a ‘95 model.

What canvas in which photo counting down
repaint of front & rear bumpers & back fenders after Bug Guards were removed
Owner please advise what the white spot is on the bonnet. Has something eaten through
the paint or is it a photo blemish?

Interested Party’s, this vehicle is one you can on in being in excellent mechanical condition due to the repairs that have been completed during the 4 years I have owned it; these were not due to mistreatments but due to 23 years in age & normal attrition of mechanical parts; with a straight face & receipts to back me up plus the two shops that have serviced it, this car is literally ready for another 23 years reality worry free; this baby is being offered for fair market value only, otherwise I will continue to enjoy the joy of driving the car & benefiting from the sizable investment I have incurred; this is the third 911 I have owned;
