Offered for auction is a 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a Midnight Blue partial leather interior. Equipped with a new Varioram induction system for the 1996 model year, this Carrera was first registered in Ohio and came factory equipped with 17” wheels, an optional limited-slip differential, Automatic Braking Differential (ABD), and a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. It had reportedly been cared for by three prior owners and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut showing approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic (L92M) and rides on factory 17” Cup 2 wheels with optional colored Porsche crest caps and new Continental Extreme Contact tires. The rear decklid, bumper, and quarter panels are said to have been previously refinished to address scratches and the seller describes to paint to be in very good condition overall, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Midnight Blue partial leather with matching carpets and floor mats. The seller notes light wear on the seat bolsters and reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional. The original Porsche CR-210 radio remains in place and the following equipment codes are listed on the factory specifications label:

For the 1996 model year, the 993 Carrera was given an upgraded Varioram induction system which increased the output of the 3.6L flat-six engine up to 282 HP. This example features a 6-speed manual transmission that drives the rear wheels along with an optional limited-slip differential and Automatic Braking Differential (ABD). The original stamped service book will accompany the sale showing a delivery inspection in November of 1996 as well as service from Chambers Motor Cars of Boston in 1999 and 2005.

I did read the description but the description is lacking. It does not indicate whether it was a respray or a full repaint, and one cannot tell whether it was a good quality respray because there is no paint depth measurement provided in the description.
