We are pleased to offer this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Arena Red Metallic over a Cashmere and black partial leather interior.  Celebrated as the final iteration of the air cooled 911, the 993 series has become increasingly popular amongst discerning Porsche enthusiasts.  Showcasing factory "Exclusive" painted side skirts, a 6-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential and an added Turbo-style rear spoiler, this 1996 example is said to have been under the diligent care of its first private owner for the past 20 years.  Having been kept up to date on all routine service while accumulating approximately 103k miles, this 993 is now being offered for auction in great overall condition by its seller in New York.

The Arena Red Metallic finish on this Cabriolet is said to be in very good condition with minimal signs of road-going wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).  Following a minor cosmetic incident in 2008, some of the exterior finish is said to have been professionally redone along the left side of the car.  A Turbo-style rear spoiler was added and this 993 comes factory optioned with “Exclusive” painted side skirts as well as 18” Twist wheels which are currently dressed in Continental tires.

This Carrera carries an air cooled 3.6 L flat-six engine rated at 285 HP.  The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with factory limited slip differential making for a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds.  The clutch and flywheel were redone within the last 8k miles and the clutch lever bearing is also said to have been replaced within the last 12k miles.  The brakes have been recently replaced along with the distributor belt and a wheel alignment.  Having undergone a recent full standard service with all routine maintenance reportedly up to date, this 993 is being offered in fantastic running order with 15 years worth of service records included. All mechanical work carried out in the past 15 years has been performed by the technicians at Rennewerke Porsche of Elmsford New York.
