Finished in Aventurine Green Metallic over Classic Grey leather, this 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo marks the final air-cooled 911 generation and features factory-exclusive aluminum and stainless-steel trim pieces. Also showcasing 19” RUF-branded wheels and a pair of upgraded K24 GT2 turbochargers, this 993 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Connecticut showing approximately 62k miles on the odometer.
This 993 comes finished in the desirable 1990s Porsche color of Aventurine Green Metallic and is distinguishable as a 911 Turbo by its wide fenders, bumpers, and distinctive rear spoiler. Exclusive stainless-steel tailpipes were optioned from the factory and the car rides on a set of aftermarket 19” RUF-branded wheels dressed in Yokohama Advan Sport tires. The Classic Grey leather interior includes optional supple leather seats and factory-exclusive stainless steel door entry guards as well as aluminum-look instrument dials and aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. The original Porsche CR-210 radio remains in place and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
The air-cooled twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six engine sends up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is derived from fixed 4-piston aluminum “Big Red” Brembo brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear. The dynamic Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential are also equipped as standard. The seller states upgraded GT2-spec K24 turbochargers have been fitted and the CARFAX report shows a service visit at Porsche of Fairfield in 2017 at 62,837 miles.
