Designed by Ian Callum and Keith Helfet, the DB7 was the only Aston Martin to have been produced at the factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, previously used by JaguarSport for the construction of the XJ220 supercar. This rare 5-speed manual 1998 DB7 Volante was first titled in Washington state and spent time in Florida, Georgia, and Texas before being acquired by the current owner in New Jersey in 2013. It has recently been serviced and received a new top, battery, and brakes. Showing approximately 45k miles on the odometer, this DB7 Volante is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New York.
This DB7 Volante is finished in Black with a matching convertible soft top and boot cover. Details include fender vents, chrome door handles, a power antenna, encapsulated halogen headlamps, and dual polished exhaust outlets. The silver 18” 12-spoke wheels are mounted with Cooper tires showing date codes from 2019. The car is said to have always been garage kept by the current owner, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with an accident-free CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in grey Connolly leather with black piping and black Wilton carpeting accented by gloss burr walnut wood veneers. Amenities include full power accessories, heated front seats, an Alpine stereo, automatic climate control, and a rear window defroster. The seller reports all accessories and instrumentation are working properly.
The DB7 Volante is powered by a hand-built supercharged 3.2-liter inline-six rated at 335 HP and 361 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 5-speed Getrag manual transmission and rear limited-slip differential. Performance features include Bilstein dampers, a softer suspension as compared to the coupe, front and rear anti-roll bars, and 4-piston brake calipers in the front with sliding aluminum calipers in the rear. The seller notes the convertible top has recently been replaced along with the battery, brakes, and a standard service completed in 2021.
This sale will include a clean title. The CARFAX shows a Not Actual Miles (NAM) status to have been previously issued however, the seller contests the mileage displayed on the odometer is accurate and that the mileage discrepancy likely resulted from a clerical error during registration.

@Jimbo1907 Hi, thank you for your comment. She really is a beautiful and great driving car. These manual db7's are excellent value right now.
Photos of the undercarriage including a shot from a lift can be seen in the gallery pics 103-107. The car is very clean and solid underneath.
Handsome car- maybe the prettiest A-M design in the modern era. ANy chance of some views of the undercarriage, with the car on a lift? Thank you.
