Now up for auction is this 1998 BMW E36 M3 Convertible finished in Estoril Blue over a Dove Gray leather interior. This well-equipped second-generation M3 is reported to have been under the care of its original owner from new up until the seller’s recent purchase in 2020. Equipped with BMW’s venerable S52 engine, this facelift 1998 example also came factory optioned with forged 17” wheels, a Harman/Kardon Premium Sound System, an onboard computer, heated seats, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with sport and manual driving modes. A lifelong California car, this highly collectible M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Marin County, CA. while showing just over 34k-miles on the odometer.
This M3 is finished in the iconic shade of Estoril Blue with a matching blue convertible soft top. The car is described to be highly original with factory labels remaining in place throughout the body. The seller also notes the convertible top to have been well preserved throughout the years, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings a clean CARFAX report. The factory 17” Style 24 wheels have just recently been dressed in a set of new tires in preparation for sale. A matching full-size spare is included in the trunk.
Inside, this E36 is appointed with a Dove Gray leather interior with heated and power-adjustable front seats. Other factory equipment includes an onboard computer, cruise control, keyless entry, an alarm system, and a Harman/Kardon Premium Sound System.
