@Matthew77 Hey, Matthew. Vision Motorsports guided me here. In order to change the DME we removed it and shipped it to Germany for the reflash. This was necessary to utilize the different VarioRam hardware and induction mapping in the 3.4L. Will need to review the build sheet to answer questions about immobilizer and trans module changes the team made, if any.

    Cheers

  • 89TIGER (seller) 4 years, 4 monthsago

@sbturbo_911 Negative. I upgraded the clutch as well. All records and receipts associated with the build are in the 4” binder.

  • Matthew77 (registered bidder) 4 years, 4 monthsago

How did u change the dme to a 3.4 liter and use the same imobilizer and trans module? I have a boxster and would like to do the same.

@89TIGER : so its the original gearbox?

  • 89TIGER (seller) 4 years, 4 monthsago

@sbturbo_911 Hey, Steve. I had a local dealer (Napleton Porsche in Westmont, IL) install a factory short shift kit along with the carbon fiber gear lever and parking brake. Shifts remain very crisp throughout.

@DonM Negative. The soft top is still intact and fully operational. Correct, it is a 5-speed.

Will attempt to update the posting with images of the soft top closed, and change the wording to accurately reflect 5-speed.

    Cheers

  • DonM (registered bidder) 4 years, 4 monthsago

There is no soft top any longer, correct? And is this 5 speed per the shift pattern or 6 speed?
