Up for auction is this 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena finished in Rosso Corsa over a tan leather interior. The 360 Modena ushered in a new era for Ferrari with new aerodynamic bodywork by Pininfarina laid over an all-aluminum spaceframe. This launch-year example features a rare 6-speed manual transmission and traditional gated shifter connecting the driver to a naturally-aspirated V8 engine beneath the glass rear engine cover. Acquired by the seller in 2016, this Ferrari has since undergone nearly $14k worth of service and is now being offered for auction out of North Carolina showing approximately 32k miles on the odometer.
This 360 Modena features traditional Rosso Corsa (322) paint over aluminum bodywork with a rear Challenge-style grille. The windows have been tinted with Llumar CTX40 and AIR80 film under the current ownership and the finish is described to be in excellent condition overall. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This 360 rides on aftermarket 19" F430-style wheels finished in satin black with carbon fiber center caps and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2016.
The cabin is trimmed in classic tan leather with matching carpets and carbon fiber inlays, while the upper dashboard has been custom reupholstered in black leather with red contrast stitching. The driver is supplied with a carbon-fiber shift knob, drilled aluminum pedals, and a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel. A Kenwood flip-out double din head unit has been installed along with Kenwood speakers in the doors, an 8“ Kenwood subwoofer mounted in the center console, front and rear cameras, and an integrated Escort 9500Ci radar detector system. Some minor wear is noted on the driver’s outer seat bolster, and the seller reports original trim and switches have been replaced with upgraded De-Sticky pieces.
The 360 Modena is powered by a 3.6L quad-cam V8 which sends as much as 396 HP to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This naturally aspirated powerplant features a flat-plane crankshaft, titanium connecting rods, and dry-sump lubrication. The seller reports a major service carried out within the last year included new engine and transmission mounts as well as flushes of the braking, power steering, and coolant systems. A collection of maintenance records can be found in the gallery.
This sale will include the original toolkit, manuals, a car cover, and a clean title. Do not miss your chance to enjoy the feel of a crisp 6-speed gated shifter behind the wheel of this stunning 360 Modena.

@Tuffyearl Please review the most recent service from 2021 re: the questions on the leaks - there are none with this vehicle, and in that $14K service there were new fuel rails and water pump addressed. It's also worth noting that the 360 does not require engine-out for a belt service, making for a far more economical ownership than many of their cars.
@Tuffyearl I wasn't part of the conversation with the service personnel so I cannot advise on their line of thinking....I'm not fully familiar with the recommendations from Ferrari on the exact intervals. The exhaust is original and is stock; it is not aftermarket.
Bid in the amount of $70,000
Thanks for the quick reply. Seems very odd that while in for major service 6 years and over 6000 miles since last belt service they would not recommend belt replacement. I thought the recommended interval was something like 3 yrs/ 5000 miles. Are there any oil, coolant or fuel leaks or exhaust leaks at all on the car? And finally, is that the original exhaust manifolds and system? Thanks again!
@Tuffyearl Shop advised us in Sept 2021 that the belts did not need to be addressed at this time - they were last replaced in Sept 2016 (see attached receipts) at mileage 25K. AC blows strong cold air. No engine lights / service lights of any sort on the car. We have never looked into having the fenders rolled.
Were timing belts changed at last service? Does the A/C work as it should? Does it blow cold? Any engine lights? Have you looked into having fenders rolled? wondering what that would cost. Nice car!
@Niteroi This is a factory 6-speed, not a conversion. No accidents. To our knowledge and under our ownership there has been no modification to the paint job.
Factory manual transmission or conversion?
Any accidents or paint job done?
@Niteroi we do not have the original wheels.
@Igprez Do you have the original wheels?
