Up for auction is this 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Blue Metallic over a grey leather interior. As early 996 models continue to grow in popularity among the Porsche community, this example is not to be overlooked. Featuring low mileage, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a recent service, this 911 is ready to be enjoyed and driven by a new owner. It is now being offered out of Dallas, TX with just 41k miles on the odometer.
The Blue paint is stated to be in very good condition with a few signs of road going wear which are properly outlined in the photo gallery. A new cabriolet top is said to have been installed within the past year and is in perfect working order. This Carrera rides on a set of factory 18” SportDesign wheels that wear a set of Continental tires that are dated from 2018-2019.
This 996 is equipped with a grey leather interior that is said to remain in excellent condition with only minor wear to the driver’s seat bolster. A few modifications have been implemented such as additional padding on the rear seats, new center console arm rest, upgraded rear speakers, and a new Alpine head unit. All electronics are said to be in working order.
This 911 retains its original 3.4 L flat-six engine that is capable of producing 296 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that a recent service as well as an inspection have been carried out just this month. The car is said to remain in excellent running condition. Service records will show that this vehicle has always been properly maintained throughout its life.
The sale will include two keys, original books, tools, spare tire, a clean Carfax report, and service records.

@purtell1749 We do not have a record of this one being replaced, but it's also a 99, so not very common of an issues as later 996s.
