Now up for auction is this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior.  Marking the dawn of the new millennium for the Porsche 911, this 2000 Carrera Coupe features a 3.4L flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox along with optional supple leather seats, leather-trimmed dashboard and door panels, 18” Turbo-Look wheels, 8-way power seats, and exclusive aluminum inlays for the shifter and handbrake lever.  It was acquired by an avid collector in 2019 who carried out major service within the last 500 miles including an LN Engineering IMS bearing and chain tensioner upgrade, a new clutch, coolant flush, oil change, and new ignition components.  With approximately 33k miles showing on the odometer, this well-sorted 996 Carrera is being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina.

This 996 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on factory optioned 18” 993 Turbo-Look wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps.  The rear bumperettes have been painted to match and clear European-spec lenses have been installed for the corner markers.  The paint is described to have been kept in very good condition overall, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.  The wheels come mounted with a set of Bridgestone Potenza tires dated from 2019.

Inside, this Carrera features a black interior with optional supple leather seats and extended leather trim covering the dashboard and door panels.  Other optional features include exclusive aluminum inlays for the shift knob and handbrake lever, 8-way electrical seats with driver memory, and a three-spoke steering wheel.  An upgraded 997 shifter has been installed and the original shifter assembly is said to accompany the sale.  The factory specifications label on the underside of the hood lists the following equipment codes:

This first-generation 996 Carrera is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six engine that sends up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.  Within the last 5k miles, new OEM motor mounts were installed as well as new RoW-spec Bilstein struts, Akebono brake pads, G Box 1-2 transmission detents, and a new coolant expansion tank along with a new cap and relief valve.  Since 2019, another major service included an LN Engineering IMS bearing and chain tensioner upgrade, a new OEM clutch, serpentine belt, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, oil change, and new spark plugs, seals, and ignition coils.  The service was completed by Body Motion of New Jersey within the last 500 miles and a corresponding invoice is provided in the gallery.

This sale will include the original owner's manuals, service records, and a clean title. Thoroughly serviced and sparingly driven, this 996 Carrera is just waiting to please its next owner.
