We are pleased to offer this 2001 Honda S2000 AP1 finished in Formula Red over a black interior. Introduced with innovative DOHC-VTEC technology, double wishbone suspension, a visceral 6-speed manual gearbox, and limited-slip differential, the S2000 offers a 50/50 weight distribution and a high-revving naturally aspirated engine delivering an impressive 120 HP per liter. Having remained under the care of its original owner from new, this well-preserved 2001 example is now being offered for auction out of Colorado with just over 15k miles showing on the odometer.
This S2000 is finished in Formula Red with a black power-retractable soft top. The seller notes two small dings on the driver-side rear quarter panel, and some other cosmetic imperfections are depicted in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This S2000 rides on factory 16” five-spoke wheels which come dressed in their original Bridgestone Potenza tires.
The driver is situated in a nicely preserved black interior with leather-trimmed seats, a 3-spoke leather steering wheel, aluminum pedal covers, and an aluminum shift knob. All gauges and accessories are said to be functioning properly apart from the driver’s window, which does not roll down all the way when the top is lowered but can still be fully raised and lowered using the power window switch.
The naturally aspirated 2.0L F20C inline 4-cylinder engine features DOHC-VTEC variable valve timing and offers an output of up to 240 HP with a 9k-RPM redline. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with a Torsen limited-slip differential. Other factory performance features include double-wishbone suspension and electrically assisted power steering. The seller notes the car to have only ever needed standard oil services over the last 19 years, and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner's manuals, sales documentation, a car cover, and a clean title. Highly original and with low mileage, this one-owner S2000 makes an excellent investment as well as an ideal collector’s item.

@BenT210 on this model when you engage the emergency brake and push the button to lower the top, the drivers side window doesn’t automatically lower all the way. Once the top is down, the power windows work and the window will lower. It just doesn’t go down all the way when lowering the convertible top.
