2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Aerokit 6-Speed

Up for auction is this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe presented in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Grey full leather interior with Red deviated stitching.  This generously equipped example showcases a 6-speed manual transmission, 18” Sport Design wheels and a highly desirable factory Aerokit.  It is now being offered in fantastic overall condition by its seller in Florida with approximately 38k miles shown on the odometer.

The Arctic Silver Metallic finish is stated to be in very nice condition only minimal road going wear.  The seller indicates that the passenger side fender shows signs of being refinished, although the rest of the paint on the car is believed to be original.  Factory rear bumper side fins are equipped along with a highly sought-after factory Aerokit which adds revised bumpers as well as side skirts and a fixed rear wing derived from the GT3.  This 996 rides on optional 18” Sport Design wheels which are currently dressed in Continental Extreme Contact tires dated from 2016 and 2017.

Inside, the driver is situated within a Grey full leather interior with suede headliner, draped leather seats and deviated stitching in red.  The cabin is stated to be in good condition with all accessories and gauges working properly. Noteworthy features include red seat belts, aluminum look instrument faces, aluminum inlays on the gear and handbrake levers, stainless-steel doorsill and 8-way electrical seats with driver’s side lumbar support and memory.

This Carrera is outfitted with a 3.4 L M96 flat-six engine which is rated at 300 HP stock.  Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.  A label in the engine compartment indicates that the A209 emissions recall has been addressed.  All scheduled maintenance is reported to be up to date and service records will be included with the sale.

Also accompanying the sale of this 996 are a set of 2 keys, the original books and a clean title.  With attractive factory options and only 38k miles shown, this 6-speed Carrera Aerokit makes the ideal 996 for any passionate enthusiast.

  • AtPorsche (seller) 1 monthago

@Jabbawock911 - I'm a dealer. This is not the the first car I've sold here.

  • Jabbawock911 1 monthago

Are you a dealer or private party sale? Has anyone purchased a car on this website?

  • AtPorsche (seller) 1 monthago

@Andy804 - The paint meter reading is slightly elevated. Also, in certain light, i can notice a slight variation in the shade of the silver. The quality of the work is good.

  • Andy804 1 monthago

Please explain "passenger side fender shows signs of being refinished." Is it the paint meter thickness, a different shade of paint, overspray, etc.? Thank you.

@bkspeed - he did not do IMS. I did an oil service for him before he took delivery. New owner will get another.

  • bkspeed (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@AtPorsche Did he do any maintenance, specifically the ims bearing?

  • AtPorsche (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@bkspeed - I was actually the seller on BaT. I told the buyer, if he ever decided to sell it, give me first dibs. He did. He loved the car, and he went back and forth before pulling the trigger.
From what he told me, he had to get rid of one car (I think it was due to space), and this was the one he decided to sell. I saw his other cars, and they were all six figure vehicles.

  • bkspeed (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

This car was just bought on BAT (6/29/20). Why are you selling it so soon after just buying?

  • AtPorsche (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@Skindoc - IMS has not been upgraded. However, because this is an early 2000 (built in Oct 99), it likely has the dual row bearing from the factory.

  • Skindoc (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

    IMS updated?
