Marking the last year of the original 996 design and its 3.4-liter engine, this 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a matching interior. Featuring an optional three-spoke steering wheel, 18” Turbo wheels, and a 6-speed manual gearbox, this Carrera has also been customized with LED taillights, aluminum-look trim pieces, a carbon fiber shift knob, and a modern touchscreen head unit. It is now being offered for auction by its owner out of North Carolina showing approximately 143k miles on the odometer.
This 996 comes finished in Seal Grey Metallic (L6B4) and features a set of aftermarket LED taillights, red-painted brake calipers, and factory-optioned 18” 993 Turbo-Look wheels. The car rides on a set of Bridgestone tires from 2020 and some imperfections can be seen throughout the exterior including a scratch and dent on the passenger-side fender. The Seal Grey (CB) partial leather interior features aluminum-look trim pieces on the door panels as well as a carbon fiber shift knob, upgraded touchscreen head unit, and replacement power-operated seats in supple leather with Porsche crested headrests. The shift knob exhibits signs of age, and some wear can be seen on the seats and center console.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine sends up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The current owner installed new motors mounts since their purchase about a year ago and states that the spark plugs and fluids were changed shortly before then. The seller also reports that the brake pads, water pump, belts, clutch, and IMS bearing were replaced by the previous owner.

@Bahnburner Seller states previous owner is a Doctor and that he is trying to get a hold of him for any and all paperwork he may have from his ownership. Seller states that the IMS and Clutch were replaced before he purchased the car and has had no issues.

Seller also states that the airbag light has been on for the entire duration of ownership, It is believed to be a faulty sensor. Thank you

Can you post closeups of the dent and scratch? Also, it looks like the airbag light is stuck on while operating the car, do you know what is causing that?
