Up for auction is this 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe. The modern era of Porsche buyers are starting to take note of the remarkable performance and unprecedented value that the 996 Turbo offers. This example spent time in, Illinois, Florida, and most recently Texas before making its way to Pennsylvania where it now resides with its current seller. It is now being offered for auction in excellent condition with 52k miles showing on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic Paint is stated to be in exceptional condition showing minimal wear. The vehicle's hood has undergone one professional respray, most likely due to rock chips and typical road-going wear. As per the seller, all other panels still retain their original factory paint. A new rear spoiler mechanism has been installed and is said to be in perfect working order. This Turbo rides on a set of 18" Turbo Twist wheels that wear Michelin tires.
Inside, you will find a Graphite Grey full leather interior that shows to be in excellent cosmetic condition. Only normal wear and tear exists in typical areas such as the side of the center console and slight creasing of the front seats. From factory, this Turbo boasted a handful of desirable options such as bi-xenon HID headlights, power seats, navigation, Bose surround sound system, and an electric sunroof.
Powered by the venerable GT1-derived 3.6L Mezger flat-six engine, the 996 Turbo remains one of the most desirable water-cooled 911’s to date. Boasting twin turbochargers and offering refined all-wheel drive handling, Car and Driver hailed the 996 Turbo’s performance as “simply intoxicating”. This example features a factory sport exhaust as well as an OEM software and intake upgrade which is said to boost the stock 400HP to an astonishing 500+HP. The seller states that this Turbo received a comprehensive 50k mile service prior to listing it for auction. Service records will show that regular maintenance has been performed at TPWS in Austin, TX with a recent ignition unit and battery replacement.
The sale will include a clean Carfax, service records, 2 keys, books, and a certificate of authenticity.

at this price I would throw a bid in but no way it will sell here
@Chuck246cp not every one has to be $60k, based on the one that sold on here last week with the bad carfax and less miles (non factory wheels and tiptronic) this should bring mid to high 30's

Other than tiptronic, no factory X50 upgrade, no sexier wheels and no factory aero package, this looks to be a pretty nice car. Unfortunately without those items mentioned, this car
will not get close to good money. It is simply ordinary, but nice......
