Up for auction is this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe automatic finished in Meridian Metallic over a black full leather interior.  Purchased by its current owner from a local Porsche dealership in 2008, this 996 has been customized with a TechArt-style front bumper, a TechArt exhaust, aftermarket wheels, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler.  Remaining nicely presented with approximately 80k miles currently displayed on the odometer, this Turbo is now being offered by its owner in California accompanied by service records, a clean title, and CARFAX report.

The uncommon Meridian Metallic paint is said to be in very good overall condition except for a slight impression on the front hood and some minor rock chips on the front fascia (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).  Modifications include an eye-catching TechArt-style front bumper, TechArt-style side skirts, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and yellow-painted brake calipers situated behind aftermarket 19” multi-piece wheels.

The black full leather interior features a factory 3-spoke leather steering wheel, BOSE audio, and an aftermarket Pioneer head unit.  The passenger’s side window does not automatically lower when the handle is pulled, and a professional diagnosis suggests that the outer passenger handle needs to be replaced to correct this.  The seller also reports intermittent error codes for the ABS, PSM, and outside temperature sensors, although all of these systems are said to be working properly.  The power window motors have been replaced and the seller confirms all other gauges and accessories to be fully functional.

A legendary 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine delivers 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque stock to all four wheels by way of a refined 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission.  0-60 is achieved in as little as 4.2 seconds while reaching a top speed of over 180 MPH.  A TechArt exhaust system has been installed and all routine maintenance is said to have been kept up to date.  This vehicle is reported to meet California emissions/smog requirements and a recent full service was carried out to maintain excellent running order. The seller reports a very minor oil leak.
