A spiritual successor to the iconic BMW 507 Roadster, the Z8 is a limited-production retro-style sports car featuring an all-aluminum chassis paired with an S62 V8 engine and 6-speed manual transmission borrowed from the E39 M5 sports sedan. This 2002 example is one of 2,543 to have been delivered in North America and comes finished in the rare combination of Light Red over a Black and Sport Red leather interior. The car was originally sold by Park Ave BMW of New Jersey and was registered to one prior owner before it was acquired by the seller and exported to Dubai in 2020.  This stunning BMW Z8 is now being offered for auction out of the UAE showing approximately 26k miles on the odometer.

This Z8 is finished in Light Red (314) with a matching removable hardtop and retractable black cabriolet roof. Designed by Henrik Fisker, the Z8 strongly evokes BMW’s classic 507 with its characteristic twin-nostril grille, roundel front fender vents, and polished mirrors and door handles. It uses a full aluminum body and incorporates a unique exterior lighting system with neon-tube taillights and turn signals. The cabin is appointed with Black and Sport Red leather including two-tone seats, Sport Red carpeting, and piano black trim. Shared with the E39 M5, the BMW Z8 is equipped with a 4.9-liter S62 V8 engine featuring double-VANOS variable valve timing, quad hollow camshafts, and individual throttle bodies to produce up to 394 HP and 368 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The mid-front-mounted engine contributes to an ideal 50/50 weight distribution and propels the Z8 from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.2 seconds.
