Presented in Arctic Silver Metallic over Graphite Grey full leather upholstery, this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine. It was ordered with optional deviated carpeting as well as a three-spoke steering wheel and supple leather seats. Sold from Braman Motorcars of Palm Beach Florida, this 996 has been dealer-maintained under the care of its original owner since new and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee showing approximately 42k miles on the odometer.

This 996 wears an Arctic Silver Metallic finish and Turbo-specific bodywork including unique bumpers, wide fenders with rear side air intakes, and a rear spoiler with a speed-activated wing. This example rides factory 18” 911 Turbo wheels with “Turbo” logo center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated from 2012. The seller describes the paint to be in very good overall condition, noting only a few areas where chips and scratches have been touched up. Some minor cracks have also formed in the taillight lenses due to age; detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in Graphite Grey full leather upholstery including optional supple leather seats and deviated black carpeting. Other factory options include black mats with Porsche lettering, an AM/FM radio, and a three-spoke steering wheel in leather. Some imperfections are shown in the soft touch coating on the center console and ignition lock surround.

A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers up to 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has been regularly maintained at the original selling dealership in Florida including routine oil and filter services as well as the installation of new hood struts.

This sale will include a clean title.

That said, w/ BaT fee, about right ( for buyer ) I would suggest
Light Gray probably not the preferred interior color ( imho )

@stupendous . There’s a guy in rennlist that has 5 of them, one a tip, one a cabrio. At lunch wife said she likes the 03 triple black that i have better. If I was to get this one I need to sell one of the other two p cars. I’m out of garage space. I’m actively looking in a subdivision my wife likes for another house. Bigger more garage space. Over here houses are already starting to be discounted. Big $50-60K.

@sportscarguy3 no major service records. Minor services just completed oil and filters. Spoiler hydraulics were resealed. Coolant lines have not been welded or pinned. Really great driving car, no immediate or near future needs. Thanks!

@luis.seneriz Yeah I submitted the overrev report with the video, should be up shortly. Admittedly, I logged a range 1 overrev yesterday taking the car out..pretty common on these but the overrevs are very very low on this car compared to what I usually see on the Turbos. No second gear pop out issues on this one. Thanks! Miles

  • luis.seneriz (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

@Miles.S . Are you going to provide the DME over rev report? Also the 01-02 models have issues with the tranny popping out of second gear, does this car do it? Thanks

  • luis.seneriz (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@sportscarguy3 @sportscarguy3. Got a triple black 03. Bought it here. Drive it all the way from California 1698 miles. Great road trip. I just like, live these cars. I already put the headers and exhaust that the previous owner gave me. Car gas a mild tune, making about .9 bar of boost, upgraded turbos and intercoolers, K24s.

  • Miles.S (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@luis.seneriz absolutely, I can help to arrange that. These are great road trip cars. Have taken several of them on long distances drives. This car will do fine on your trip back. I am close to the airport as well. Have a great weekend!

Seller i like to fly and drive. I live in the Houston Texas area. Anyway if I’m reading correctly the tires on this car are from 2012. They need replacement, would you guys arrange to replace the tires in case I’m the winner and charge me your cost prior of me picking up the car? Also are there any other conditions that would not allow me to drive this car this distance. Thanks and wish everyone one here a great holiday weekend.

    Hi all,

Wanted to introduce myself as the seller here. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests.
The coolant pipes have not been pinned or welded. The spoiler does work and fiction as it should.
    Thanks!

Great looking car! Usual questions... Have coolant lines been pinned or welded? Does the spoiler work?
