The Porsche 996 series underwent a facelift for the 2002 model year including refreshed styling and a larger 3.6-liter engine. Finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Graphite Grey interior, this 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. It comes equipped with 18” Sport Classic wheels and a painted center console along with the optional Technic Package which adds Bi-Xenon headlamps and a HiFi sound system. For the 2002 model year, the Porsche 911 Carrera received a facelift including a revised front fascia with new headlights derived from the 911 Turbo. This Coupe is finished in Seal Grey Metallic and rides on 18” Sport Classic wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. Other equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust pipes, an electric sunroof, tinted side marker lights, and Bi-Xenon headlights with washers included as part of the Technic Package. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 5 seconds while stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and ventilated discs at each corner. The seller notes that the engine short block was replaced at 38k miles and a collection of service records shows $54k invested in maintenance over the years while the car was regularly serviced at an independent Porsche shop. The CARFAX also shows a service completed in January 2023 with new tires, a sunroof weatherstrip, tie rods, hood shocks, an oil filler tube, a seatbelt buckle, and a maintenance inspection.
