Now up for auction is this 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe presented in Black over a Black full leather interior.  Showcasing a highly sought-after twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, this 996 Turbo represents one of the most desirable water-cooled Porsche’s on the road.  The original $125,975 build for this example also includes the aluminum/chrome package, Parking Assist System, and supple leather seats with Porsche crested headrests.  Showing approximately 34k miles on the odometer, this Turbo is now being offered by its seller in Kansas accompanied by a clean title and Carfax report.

The Black paint on this 996 is reported to be in superb condition (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).  This model features a rear spoiler and side air intakes as well as stainless steel exhaust pipes that are included as part of the aluminum/chrome package.  Updated Porsche 997 Turbo wheels are currently equipped with brand new Michelin tires, although this Turbo is also accompanied by its original set of optional 18” Sport Techno wheels.

Inside, this 996 is appointed with a Black full leather interior featuring supple leather seats with Porsche crested front headrests.  Other exclusive details include aluminum-look instrument gauges, an aluminum-look rear center console, and chrome door sill guards with model logos as well as a shift knob and handbrake in leather/aluminum.  Amenities include heated front seats with lumbar support, the Parking Assist System, and dual automatic climate control.  The cabin is said to be in very nice shape with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.

This 996 is equipped with a highly revered 3.6 L twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine capable of sending 415 HP to all four wheels through a preferable 6-speed manual transmission.  0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 4 seconds while reaching top speeds upwards of 185 MPH.  Recently in 2020, this Turbo underwent a full 30k mile service by a Porsche specialist at a cost of over $2k.  Service invoices are included with the sale and this 996 is reported to drive beautifully.

This sale will include the original books, tools, and Sport Techno wheels, a set of 2 keys, some service records, and a clean title.  Do not miss out on your opportunity to get behind the wheel of this 6-speed Mezger Turbo.

Can you include photos of the driver's seat bolsters and the driver's door sill? Those areas are usually the first to get worn, and aren't shown in these images. Please also include a photo of the undercarriage. Is there any rust or corrosion on this car?
The wing should also go up and down, so if it's fixed in the up position, it is most likely broken. A common issue on these, but is a costly repair/upgrade to sort out.

Hi, nice car... the car is located in Kansas? I'm a motorcycle dealer, check out my website... Joesbikes.net. There's a way to contact me there. I'd like to talk to you about it.

  • harrisonhalsted (registered bidder) 3 years, 5 monthsago

@RandyCurnow So what's the story behind the wing fixed in the up position? If the wing is working correctly, it should go up/down at speed, or by pushing the spoiler button next to the PSM button in the cabin. I believe there is a way to fix it in position (up or down) when the car is starting to have problems with the hydraulic lifting rams.

@viavaquero Absolutely no paint or interior issues. Neither set of the wheels have any curb rash. This Porsche is a 10 inside and out. Thanks Craig Martin

  • RandyCurnow (seller) 3 years, 5 monthsago

@viavaquero No it is a fixed wing.

  • viavaquero (registered bidder) 3 years, 5 monthsago

Picture #14 appears to have some body/paint issues. Are there any dings, dents of any size or the like on the exterior or curb rash on the wheels, both sets? Any worn area on the interior, like the drivers seat bolster? Thanks

  • viavaquero (registered bidder) 3 years, 5 monthsago

Is the rear wing the original hydraulic wing and does it go all the way up and down as it did when it was shipped from the Factory?

  • Dcsurfer 3 years, 5 monthsago

    What’s the reserve?

  • RandyCurnow (seller) 3 years, 5 monthsago

Thanks for your input!! Look further at the photos we have the original wheels also!!

  • Chuck246cp (registered bidder) 3 years, 5 monthsago

This is gorgeous car, looks to be in great shape although pictures are not too good. Also,
these cars are an absolute bargain.....reliable and very quick. I have one in my little stable,
have had it for years and don't even think about selling it. Wheels are a great change from twists which are not very cool in my opinion.....X50 and factory aero would be great improvements, but this is still a winner....price will go much higher. GLWTA seller....

Hi Randy & Pcarmarket - how do the dealer fees ($589) work out with a Pcarmarket auction? Is this baked into the winning bid like the buyer fee, or is it negotiable? Thanks.

  • RandyCurnow (seller) 3 years, 5 monthsago

It is just they way the photo makes them look they are factory sensors for sure. Thanks

  • futureartist (registered bidder) 3 years, 5 monthsago

Those parking sensors in the rear bumper seem way too aftermarket. Can you share more about this? They really stick out.
