Offered for auction is this 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe finished in Dark Teal Metallic over Graphite Grey full leather. Carrying a GT1-derived Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, this Turbo also came factory equipped with an exclusive painted center console and optional supple leather upholstery for the front and rear seats. It was sold new in Naples, Florida, and spent time in Georgia before being acquired by its previous owner out of Maryland in 2013. It had been fitted with a set of upgraded HRE wheels, Passport radar detector, custom seat piping, carbon fiber trim, and a full custom sound system prior to the seller’s acquisition in November of 2021. Having since undergone a major service in preparation for sale, this eye-catching 996 Turbo is being offered for auction out of Illinois showing approximately 28k miles on the odometer.
This 996 was ordered in Dark Teal Metallic, a very rare and historic Porsche color also known as Lago Green Metallic (Lagogrünmetallic, 5605) which first appeared on the 356A in 1957. The car rides on a set of aftermarket 18” HRE three-piece wheels with custom color-matched centers and a mixed set of Continental/Toyo tires. A removable matte vinyl wrap has been added to the panel below the rear window and the rear spoiler has been upgraded with an electric eRam wing kit and riser. Clear paint protection film is applied over the front bumper, mirror covers, and ahead of each rear wheel. The seller notes one paint chip on the hood and suspects some areas of the car to have been refinished at some point. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Graphite Grey leather interior includes factory optioned supple leather seats with custom green piping. The upholstery is accented by a factory exclusive painted rear center console and custom silver carbon fiber trim pieces. An integrated Passport radar detector/jammer system has been installed along with a full custom sound system including a Kenwood double-din head unit, DVD player, and dual ARC Audio amplifiers mounted within a custom painted trunk enclosure.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Offering an output of up to 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque, this Turbo Coupe can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4 seconds. Maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report and the seller states service carried out in December of 2021 included the installation of a new battery, air filters, spark plugs, radiators, coolant, and an oil change.

You will not be taxed twice, just your own state. There will not be any other IL tax or anything in that realm. Same as any vehicle purchase.

@lowtone it does not. the only additional fee would be a $20 temp plate from Illinois. so your home state tax + temp plate.

@lowtone we are an IL dealer - AZ is a reciprocating state so we do collect 5.6% state tax for Arizona.

@Mercyhealth Underneath the custom color matched fiberglass is just the wiring / amps for the sound system. There are a couple options one can do regarding luggage space. If the frunk is required the amps can be repositioned in a lower spot and the frunk can be regained, or alternatively any electronic / sound system shop can remove the aftermarket system and go with an OEM or PCCM+ head unit.
Seller what is under the plastic cover in the frunk? Is there any storage space left at all?
Lovely car. To me much of the appeal of any Pcar is in a unique color combination. They say to each is own, but I just don't understand why someone would spend the $$$ and sacrifice the entire luggage compartment to make music, when the best music is made with your right foot. GLWA

We do not have the factory wheels. Included are the owners manuals and car cover.
We do have a few photos under our LED lights in the shop! I'll submit them over to PCAR to be added as well. As a few noted, this color does shift quite a bit pending the lighting! Even seeing it in the shade vs direct sunlight you can see the difference.

Beautiful car, and specifications. With a unique paint such as this, I'd highly recommend adding some indoor pictures that really show the depth and dimension this color possesses. As nice as the outdoor shots are, you can barely perceive the greens and blues in it, and that's a shame. Nonetheless, this car will do well - best of luck to bidders and seller.
I used to own this car in the same color. Very rare and with the cream leather/green piping this is a one of a kind. The green looks bright green in mid day sun, blue/green at dusk and dark gray at night. Crazy color.
