The rarest of all 996 body styles, the 911 Carrera Targa features a sliding panoramic glass roof system with an opening rear hatch. This 2003 example is finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Graphite Grey leather interior and is equipped with a 5-speed Tiptronic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. It also features optional 18” Carrera II wheels, xenon headlights, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and 12-way power seats with lumbar support. Previously registered in Texas and North Carolina, this rare 996 Targa is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 42k miles on the odometer.
This Targa is finished in Seal Grey and rides on factory 18” Carrera II wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires from 2021. Other equipment includes optional xenon headlights, headlamp washers, clear side marker lenses, Porsche-branded brake calipers, colored Porsche crest wheel center caps, an automatically deploying rear spoiler, and polished dual exhaust outlets. Additional images are provided in the gallery report along with a CARFAX report showing damage in July 2007.
The cabin is appointed with Graphite Grey leather upholstery and includes optional 12-way power sets with lumbar support and driver memory. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a three-spoke leather steering wheel with Tiptronic shift buttons, a power sunshade, a body-colored center console, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a Porsche CDR23 stereo.
A 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. An oil change is said to have been performed in preparation for the sale and the CARFAX report shows 20 maintenance history records. There are no records of an IMS bearing replacement.
This sale will include a clean title.
