Offered as the high-performance variation of BMW’s E46 3-series, the iconic third-generation M3 has gained recognition for its aggressive yet elegant styling cues, impressive performance & handling abilities, and a potent 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine. Providing a thrilling open-air driving experience, this convertible variant comes finished in Alpine White over black leather upholstery. Recently serviced at a cost of approximately $6k, this 2004 example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing approximately 73k miles on the odometer.

This M3 comes finished in Alpine White contrasted with a black power-retractable soft top which can be raised or lowered in approximately 20 seconds. Compared to the standard 3-Series, the M3 sports wider fender flares, side air vents, and a revised front bumper, mirrors, and rear valence. Modifications include aftermarket angel eye headlights, an aftermarket exhaust system, window tint, and black-finished front kidney grille, headlight, and side vent inserts. It rides on factory 19” Style 67 M double-spoke wheels dressed in Continental Super Sport tires from 2018. The seller notes some paint imperfections including swirls on the hood, and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing an accident in 2006.

The cabin is upholstered with black leather upholstery and features deeply bolstered power-adjustable Sport Seats along with matching door panels and carpeting. M-specific details also include a thicker M-Sport leather steering wheel with contrasting stitching and an M-branded gauge cluster with special warm-up lights unique to the S54 engine. Additional factory features include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Some signs of wear are shown, and the seller states all gauges, electronics, and accessories are working properly.

The E46 M3 is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six with individual throttle bodies, quasi-dry sump lubrication, and Double VANOS variable valve timing. Up to 330 HP and 269 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller adds that maintenance items throughout the past few months include the replacement of the front brake pads, rotors, and sensors, idler pulley, air conditioning belt tensioner, accessory belt tensioner, drive belts, rear shocks, shock mounts, bump stops, pinion shaft seal, and DSC pressure sensor, along with an oil and filter change and a wheel alignment. Additionally, the CARFAX report shows a total of 17 service history entries dating back to the initial delivery.

@hifidk Subrame is actually a non event on Verts, the subframe is already reinforced due to missing the structural integrity from a roof
