@nafs nice options here, for sure.
Nice 996s have been in 997 price territory for the last year. Rare color or clean car with good options brings the money.
@Skindoc Early base 997s, maybe.

Into 997 territory here...
Is this an investment car to garage or is it a low mileage driver???
Either way, nice 996
I really wish this car was closer! Good luck to all of those bidding.

@RogerB The car has been inspected thoroughly and no issues were found. I don’t have any documented proof of the IMS and Porsche worn share any information. Recent maintenance include oils change and alignment. In 2011, the car most likely wasn’t driven enough to require much maintenance.
What are the spots on the roof?
@EDMF the car still smells new ! The interior looks new, leather is soft. The interior shows no sign of wear.
Do you know if any of the owners of this car smoked in it?

@playswithporsches The paint is all original with reading of 1.2-1.4 mills all the way around.
WRT "Transmission Removed and Replaced," don't you have to do that to change the main seal? I doubt it indicates anything at all with the IMS. Also, Carfax is great, but leaves a lot of holes. Do you have any docs at all to indicate maintenance activity after 2011?
Bid in the amount of $21,500
@playswithporsches the name of my dealership is Xcel Motors. The wheels are 3 piece aluminum but I didn’t see any mfr markings on them. I’ll see if I can get some paint readings today.
Bid in the amount of $19,996
Hello seller. @Xcel9808 What is the name of the dealership selling the car? Any idea what brand the wheels are? Any paintwork? Paint meter readings possible? Thank you

@Cadejo, Thanks for getting us started !

The car has Eibach lowering springs (7213.140 kit). This kit lowers the car 1.0 inch front and rear. The wheels are 19” 3-piece aluminum.
The car had an oil change and alignment a few weeks ago.
No records other than the transmission being removed and reinstalled at the dealership with less than 5k miles on it. The car drives and feels great. My mechanic was impressed !
@jrocco1971 I believe the XSU has to do with the thickness of the seat cushions
@Skindoc when I first acquired the car I noticed it was lowered. I wasn’t sure it was factory or aftermarket. The springs look oem, I will post some photos shortly. The ride quality feels stock
@danwink I don’t have any official documents but if you look on the Carfax it states the transmission was removed and installed at the dealership around 5k miles . That’s the only clue I have of the IMS being changed
How was the suspension lowered as this M030 factory suspension should sit 10mm lower from factory, I believe?
Have the springs been swapped or?
Thanks, nice 996, GLWA
Yeah...real curious about the IMS/RMS history and what happened to the OEM wheels?? Also, what exactly is the “Lowered Seats” option, XSU? Never heard of that before...
Hi- no evidence of an IMS upgrade on this fine 996?
