We are pleased to offer this 2005 Ferrari 575M Maranello presented in Rosso Scuderia over black leather. A powerful grand touring coupe based on the 550 Maranello, the 575M was updated with a redesigned interior, subtle styling changes by Pininfarina, improved suspension and brakes, and a larger 5.7 L V12 engine. This 2005 example also features a 6-speed F1 automated-manual gearbox with limited-slip differential, desirable Daytona-style seats, red brake calipers, and a factory high-power sound system with a subwoofer. It is said to have been sold new in Miami before its original owner shipped it to their house in Venezuela for a period of time and eventually back to the U.S. in 2009. Remaining in pristine collector-grade condition while showing just over 2k miles on the odometer, this 2-owner 575M Maranello is being offered for auction by its seller in Missouri.

Showcasing Pininfarina-designed bodywork, this 575M is finished in Rosso Scuderia and the paint is said to be entirely original and in like-new condition. The seller has indicated a very slight indentation on the rear bumper (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Compared with the original 550 Maranello, styling updates for the 575M include a more aggressive front grille, redesigned headlights, and new 5-spoke 18” wheels. This example comes equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that are said to be older, but still in good condition. Other factory features include red-painted brake calipers and Scuderia shields on the front fenders.

The cabin is trimmed in black leather and the seller describes the condition to be like-new. Highly desirable Daytona-style seats are factory equipped along with a leather rear shelf, automatic climate control, and a high-power sound system with a subwoofer. The original radio remains in place and all gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.

The 575M is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.7 L V12 quad-cam engine paired with a 6-speed F1 automated-manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential. Compared with its predecessor, the 575M also features larger disc brakes, improved weight distribution, and an adaptive suspension. 508 HP and 434 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels allowing this Ferrari to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds while reaching a top speed of over 200 MPH. A binder of service records is said to be included and the seller reports that all engine and timing belts were replaced during a major service within the last month.

This sale will include original owner’s manuals, service records, a toolkit, spare tire, and a clean title. For any collector of fine automobiles, this beautifully preserved Ferrari 575M Maranello is not to be overlooked.

You're not going to see a whole lot of service records on any car with 2K miles on it.
Regarding driving it, a close friend who owned a 550 joked that if people really wanted to reduce tailpipe emissions and fuel consumption, we would all own Ferraris because nobody ever really drives them!

I enjoy reading non-fiction and indeed reading the service invoices are a non fiction comedy. That being said the car is gorgeous, I just wish the new buyer would drive it!
