DT: 18k-Mile 2005 Ferrari F430 Berlinetta 6-Speed

Sporting Pininfarina-designed bodywork and a mid-mounted V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, this 2005 Ferrari F430 comes finished in Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior with red stitching. It was originally delivered to Cauley Ferrari of West Bloomfield, Michigan, optioned with the Carboceramic Brake System, Daytona-style seats, Scuderia shields, and additional leather upholstery. The car was also equipped with an F1 automated manual transmission that was converted to a traditional gated 6-speed earlier in 2022. Supported by recent service history and showing under 18k miles on the odometer, this F430 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.

The exterior is finished in Rosso Corsa with optional Scuderia fender shields and red-painted brake calipers. Aftermarket Fabspeed quad exhaust tips have been installed and the factory 19” alloy wheels received a custom satin grey finish. Clear paint protection film is applied over the front bumper, hood, fenders, A-pillars, and the leading edge of the roof. The car rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires dated from 2019, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in black leather with red stitching and optional additional leather upholstery covering the rear shelf and door moldings. Other features include electrically operated Daytona-style seats, automatic climate control, power windows, and heated exterior mirrors. An aftermarket Passport 9500ci radar detector system has been installed along with a custom sound system including a retractable Pioneer Bluetooth head unit, upgraded speakers, a JL Audio amplifier, and JL Audio subwoofers mounted behind the seats. The seller notes all the sticky buttons were refinished in June 2019.

Displacing 4.3-liters, the naturally aspirated F136 V8 engine delivers an output of up to 490 HP and 343 lb.-ft of torque. The car’s original 6-speed F1 automated manual gearbox was converted into a traditional manual with a 6-speed gated shifter in May 2022. A corresponding invoice is provided in the gallery along with records showing a brake fluid flush in September 2022, an oil and filter change in May 2022, and a new clutch and spark plugs in June 2019.

This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, service records, a toolkit, a VIP book, and a clean title.

Beautiful car and underpriced right now, for anyone on the edge I purchased a Ferrari on PCar from Ambassador last year and absolutely top notch guys every step of the way, their statements about its condition should absolutely be believed, I would see it as a huge positive if they're the seller on a auction I was looking at and hope this finds a great home.

I’m 99 percent certain that this was the gated 430 i saw at the Father’s Day car show in summit Nj. It was pretty pristine I know i have some pics somewhere of it it was next to a yellow gated 360. The condition was impeccable. The wheels really flow well . Overall top notch spec Very temping honestly if i had the bucks . This is a clean pampered example

What I do know is seller is not crazy to let go cheap.. Current bids not even in the ballpark of actually buying the car.

Yes, market obviously has simmered drastically but in good days this is a $200k car. Well aware that this is a conversion as I own an OEM example. Good luck finding an OEM for $200k, well over $250k even in this market, show me 1 to buy..

@Ambassador-Auto Yes, I know, I wasn't sure the commenter was aware

  • fcort7 (registered bidder) 6 days, 7 hoursago

@Albertnigri clearly you don’t know the market. Conversions have sold from $160-200. Factory is $250 plus. Also the EAG conversions are much better drivers than the factory stick.

  • Ambassador-Auto (seller) 6 days, 7 hoursago

@Albertnigri Yes, this is very clearly stated in the first and fourth paragraph on the description as well as all the conversion receipts are included in the gallery. We have been very clear through The Who auction that this is a conversion to a manual.

@jazzyg72 Thanks for reaching out. From what I understand, EAG offers a warranty on the parts. I do not believe there is a warranty from Royalty Exotics. I hope that helps.

Beautiful Spec. This should do very well. A $200k car all day long.

  • Ambassador-Auto (seller) 1 week, 3 daysago

@mariodesmo Yes, that is the only modification to the exhaust. Factory headers and catalytic converters are still in place. I will add a close up of the emission label when I am back in the shop on Friday.

  • mariodesmo (registered bidder) 1 week, 3 daysago

The description says "Fabspeed quad exhaust tips have been installed."
Is that the only modification to the exhaust?
Specifically, are the factory headers/cats still installed?
Could you also show a close-up pic of the emissions label?
    Thanks

@doobooloo Thanks for reaching out. 1. From what I have been told, the audio work was subbed out by the same shop that did the manual conversion. I do not know who they are.
    2. The Passport work was done prior to that, so I don't know when that was specifically done or who did the work.
    3. The car is all original paintwork as I can tell. I have metered the car and included the meter photos in the gallery. Everything checks out with the thickness. the 3 high numbers are the front hood and fenders that have the Paint Protection Film applied. Those reading are also within spec taking into account the thickness of the PPF.
    4. No idea when the PPF was applied. It was not applied with the last owner.
    5. Purchased the car with the wheels already done in grey. We did not have them done, so I am not sure if they are painted, or powder coated. My assumption is powder coated, because they look great without any blemishes. the color is extremely consistent and looks like powder to me.
    6. The scrape guards appear to have a thin 3M style double face tape along with the bolts. They were also already installed prior to us receiving the car.

  • doobooloo (registered bidder) 1 week, 6 daysago

@Ambassador-Auto A few questions - 1. Which shop did the audio work? 2. Which shop did the Passport radar work, if different than 1? 3. Any history of paint work - including bumpers, side skirts, and other plastic bits? 4. When was existing PPF applied? 5. Wheels are painted or powder coated? 6. Scrape guards are glued/siliconed in addition to bolted? Thanks much in advance!

@mariodesmo Thanks for the question. The conversion was done with all EAG Components and completed by Royalty Exotics in Las Vegas. Photo 203 is the invoice for the conversion.
