We are pleased to present this highly collectible 2005 Porsche 996 Turbo S Cabriolet 6-speed. Equipped with a legendary twin turbocharged Mezger engine and X50 performance package, the 996 Turbo S was produced for only one year and served as the flagship 911 Turbo model at the end of 996 production. Believed to be one of only 300 Turbo S Cabriolets ever produced and even fewer equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, this Turbo S is easily one of the rarest 996 examples on the market. With only 13k miles showing on the odometer, this pristine Turbo S is now being offered for auction by its seller in Long Island, New York.
The Arctic Silver Metallic finish is noted to be in excellent condition (detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the photo gallery). In addition to its widened body styling, this Turbo S can be recognized by its yellow Porsche ceramic composite brakes (PCCB) which are tucked behind factory 18” hollow-spoke Turbo Twist wheels. Optional Stainless-Steel Exhaust Pipes are also equipped along with a Graphite Grey cabriolet top.
Inside, you will find a pristine Graphite Grey full leather interior which retains all of its factory original specifications. Exclusive options listed on the $145,640 original window sticker include supple leather front and rear seats with front seat heating and lumbar support, a Sport Shifter and the Park Assist System. All gauges and accessories are reported to be fully operational.
This 996 is powered by a sought after 3.6 L twin turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine which is factory equipped with the X50 performance package consisting of larger turbochargers and intercoolers as well as a revised exhaust system and ECU programming. Offering an increase of 25 HP over the standard 996 Turbo, this Turbo S is capable of sending 444 HP to all four wheels by way of a rare 6-speed manual transmission which allows for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. This 996 remains stock in its configuration with all routine service up to date.

@Larryking Hello! Sounds like a nice car you have there. The paint meter photos have been added. I do not have a computer that is capable of providing a DME on a 996 (oddly enough it works on 997’s). I will say that the car is in stunning condition, and has never been abused. The person whom I purchased the car from several years ago was an older female Doctor Who also babied the car and garage kept it. It was never tracked and never ever abused. Low mileage is one thing, however, I cannot stress how crisp and “new feeling” this car is which is the clear result of being in the hands of a careful owner. I hope this helps and enables you to bid with confidence and add this to your garage!
Very clean T s, Perfect roof color. This is identical to my turbo x50 but with higher millage. Would be great next to twin with low miles like this gem.

@collectorcars @collectorcarschicago Hello. Checked my files as well as with my tech. He said that the car is in the exact condition it was when it left the factory and that there was no service necessary that would warrant the disassembly involved to perform the pinning. You can bid on the car knowing that it runs and drives perfect and no leaks are present. We completed a full fluid and filter service as well as a clutch accumulator under our ownership in our collection. Bid with confidence as an original 13k mile un-touched Turbo S won't come around so frequently.
