Up for auction is this very unique 2006 997 Carrera S Cabriolet. Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, Sport Chrono package, Sport exhaust, and a handful of custom ordered factory add-ons, this 997 checks off just about every box. As the demand for unique 997 models continues to increase, this example is not to be over looked. It is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania by its seller with 42k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in black, this Carrera S is stated to be in excellent cosmetic condition. Detailed photos are provided in the gallery along with recent paint meter readings. Exterior features include a “Carrera S” model designation on the rear decklid with a red “S” along with a set of OEM Lobster Claw wheels that come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated from 2018.
This Carrera S has been specially appointed with a Natural Brown leather interior that features carbon fiber accents throughout. Said to remain completely stock, this interior is showing to be in excellent condition with only slight wear to the driver side seat and a few bubbles on the rare Natural Brown gauge cluster (a common issue with 997 models). Standing as an incredibly unique example, this interior features custom options such as Adaptive hard back Sport seats with black seat backs, black-finished center console, factory cellphone mount, Porsche crest in headrests, aluminum foot rest, and navigation. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.8 L flat-six engine that is rated at 355 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission, making for a pure and visceral driving experience. The equipped Sport Chrono package and factory Sport shifter liven up the ride while the Sport exhaust provides a phenomenal soundtrack. @spokering Thank you for the question. The RMS has been replaced and is dry. The IMS in this model is not serviceable like the 996 engine. The engine is operating properly and in good order. No issues. Good luck bidding!

@havana1950 Thank you for the compliment. The look of this car Truly is gorgeous. The Natural Brown color comes as the full leather option so the grain is softer than the standard leather and fits more loosely. Standard leather fits much more tightly. The gauge cluster was ordered with the face in a color matching the leather interior. Though I haven't seen it too often, there are certain colors, including Natural Brown, that suffer from separation as they get older. There are some areas where the vinyl has separated. The interior is otherwise terrific, especially given age and mileage. I appreciate your questions and wish you good luck bidding!

@fjcolusa As for service records, I was not able to obtain any records with the car but some service is listed on the CARFAX. I had the car inspected and serviced at a European specialty shop and all service and repairs are up to date. Everything works as it should. Thanks again.
@fjcolusa Great question. Overall, the carbon goblet is in great shape. There is a bit of cracking on the cover for the telephone handset and probably another place or two but there is nothing extreme. I can go through the car and post photos of any blemishes I find. @GT3Fun Thanks for the question. The top is in excellent condition. There is no fraying or tearing. What is seen in the pictures is wrinkling from the top being open just before the photos were taken. Also, the car has been stored in our showroom with the top down for several weeks so that has an effect as well. The car is in great shape as can be seen in the photos. Looks like a nice car. Can you please comment on the condition of the roof. It looks like there are many strong wrinkles and overall condition might require a new one soon .
