A high-performance model based on the Audi A4 sedan, the S4 combines a powerful 4.2-liter V8 engine with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system, sport-tuned suspension, and a leather/Alcantara trimmed interior with Recaro sport seats. This 2007 example sports the rarely seen color of Imola Yellow along with a 6-speed manual transmission, the Exterior Sport Package, and upgraded Borla muffles. Recently serviced and showing just under 100k miles on the odometer, this S4 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This S4 is finished in Imola Yellow with the optional Exterior Sport Package adding a carbon fiber front and rear spoiler along with revised bumpers. Other details include “V8” fender badges, brushed silver mirror caps, polished window surrounds, dual Borla exhaust tips, and 18” alloy wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires from 2018. The windows have been tinted, the rear S4 badge has been removed, and imperfections noted by the seller include some chips on the front end, damages to the lower front spoiler, scratches on the rear bumper, scrape marks on the wheel, and bubbling in the rear passenger side window tint. The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with Carbon Atlas inlays and front sports seats by Recaro. The optional Convenience Package adds a Bose sound system, rain and light sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, and driver’s seat/mirror position memory. Other equipment includes front seat heating, a multifunction steering wheel, a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Audi Navigation System Plus. Some flaws are noted on the seats, steering wheel, and plastic trim pieces. The seller adds that the A/C system was recharged in 2019.
A naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine delivers up to 339 HP and 302 lb.-ft of torque to each wheel through a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. A sport-tuned suspension came equipped from the factory and the exhaust has been upgraded with a set of BorlaXS mufflers. New front brake pads were installed along with a brake fluid flush in July 2022 and the most recent oil service was completed in January 2023.
