Now available for auction is this 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Championship Edition finished in Arctic White over a two-tone Ebony and Red leather interior. One of only 399 examples produced to commemorate Ron Fellows’ participation with Corvette in the GT1-class ALMS racing series, this limited edition Z06 features unique fender stripes, a low-profile rear spoiler, chrome wheels, and a personal autograph from Ron Fellows himself. This example is said to have spent most of its life with its original owner in Georgia before moving to North Carolina and eventually being acquired by the seller in Missouri earlier in 2020. This rare and highly collectible Corvette is now being offered for auction while showing just over 1,500 miles on the odometer.
The first Z06 to have been offered in Arctic White paint, this special edition is highlighted by red-and-silver hash-style racing stripes on the front fenders inspired by those on the Corvette GT1 race car that Fellows drove to victory. A commemorative design can be found on one of the fender stripes with a maple leaf graphic incorporated as a nod to Fellows’ Canadian heritage. Other unique details include a body-colored low profile rear wing and chrome 18″ /19″ forged alloy wheels which come dressed in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Inside, you will find a specially appointed Ebony and Red two-tone leather interior with tech-pattern trim and embroidered logos on the headrests. The underside of the center armrest cover is personally autographed and numbered by Ron Fellows, and this example has been designated as #110 of 399. Additionally, this Z06 comes equipped with the 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group including the Enhanced Acoustic Package, a garage door opener, a seven-speaker Bose audio system, heated seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and memory settings. The seller notes very slight wrinkles on the driver's seat and confirms all gauges and accessories to be functioning properly.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 7.0L LS7 V8 engine rated at up to 505 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential, providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.7 seconds. Other performance features include Active Handling, dual-mode 4” exhaust tips, and a dry-sump lubrication system as well as oil, transmission, and axle coolers. The seller notes the car to have been recently serviced and reports no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
