Up for auction is this 2007 Jaguar XK Coupe finished in Ebony over a beige leather interior with decorative wood veneers. Introduced as the second and final generation of Jaguar’s XK grand tourer, the internally designated X150 series was designed by Ian Callum with advanced aluminum construction and a powerful V8 engine. Having undergone a comprehensive recent service that included new tires, this 2-owner 2007 example remains in excellent driving order, now being offered by its seller in California with approximately 28k miles showing on the odometer.
The lightweight aluminum bodywork on this XK is finished in Ebony. The paint is said to be in very nice overall condition except for a few minor cosmetic imperfections as depicted in the photo gallery. A clean CARFAX report is also provided for reference. Ian Callum’s design work includes a front grille inspired by that of the original E-Type sports car. This XK rides on factory 19” chrome wheels that have been dressed in Dunlop tires within the last 3k miles.
Inside, this Jaguar features a beige leather interior with optional wood veneers throughout the dashboard. Shift paddles are located on the multifunction steering wheel and a digital display is mounted between the two instrument dials. Amenities include climate control, a push-to-start ignition, multi-adjustable heated front seats with lumbar support and 3-position memory, a heated steering wheel, and a full digital head unit that can be used to operate various features in the vehicle. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional and the cabin is said to be in excellent shape.
Power comes from a 4.2 L DOHC V8 engine mated to a fast-shifting 6-speed automatic ZF transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 6 seconds and a top speed governed at 155 MPH. In addition to its lightweight aluminum bodywork, the XK has a bonded aluminum monocoque chassis that is shared with the XJ sedan. Compared to the prior generation XK, the X150 is nearly 2.5” wider, 6.5” longer, and 200lbs. lighter. This example is said to have been well maintained with a major service carried out in July of 2020 which included fluid and filter changes, new belts, spark plugs, and brake pads. Some service records are included and this XK is said to drive very nicely while passing California smog requirements.

Beautiful car with great color combination. Appears to be well cared for and maintained. It has everything one could want or need in a luxury sports car. A real head turner. Someone should be going home with a real prize.
