Up for auction is this 2008 BMW E93 M3 Convertible finished in Jerez Black Metallic over a Bamboo Novillo Extended Leather interior. This cabriolet version of the fourth-generation M3 features an electro-hydraulically operated folding hardtop and a high-revving S65 4.0L V8 engine. Originally sold in Ontario, Canada, this low-mileage example came equipped with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, optional 19” wheels, and Electronic Damper Control (EDC).  It had reportedly remained under the care of its original owner up until 2021 while being garage-kept and sparingly driven.  Now showing approximately 26,700 kilometers (16,590 miles) on the odometer, this E93 M3 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Canada.

This E93 is finished in Jerez Black Metallic (A73) with a power-retractable painted hardtop. The M3 can be differentiated from a standard 3-Series by its unique front and rear bumpers, side skirts, M-power quad-tipped exhaust, a distinctive power-dome hood, aerodynamic wing mirrors, and M-badged front fender vents. The car has also been fitted with an aftermarket carbon fiber front lip spoiler. The finish has been preserved with clear paint protection film applied over the hood, front bumper, fenders, and mirror housings, as well as a ceramic coating over the full exterior.  The seller adds that this M3 has been kept in a climate-controlled garage throughout its life and was never driven during the winter. A small stone chip is noted in the paint protection film on the hood and front spoiler, detailed images are provided in the gallery with a clean CARFAX report.  This example was ordered with optional 19” Style 200M double-spoke wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated from 2008.

Inside, the cabin features Bamboo Novillo Extended leather upholstery which covers the sport seats, dashboard, and center console. Woven carbon-fiber trim also lines the dashboard and door panels. Standard driver amenities include BMW iDrive navigation, automatic climate control, and Comfort Access keyless entry, while optional equipment includes Parking Distance Control and the BMW Individual 16-speaker sound system. The three-piece power-folding hardtop can be fully opened or closed in as little as 22 seconds and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly.

The E93 M3 is powered by a high-compression 4.0L V8 engine which generates as much as 414 HP while revving up to 8,400 RPM. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential sending power to the rear wheels, this convertible can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds up to an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The M3 comes standard equipped with Electronic Damper Control (EDC) which allows optimization of suspension settings to suit the current driving conditions. Recent service includes an oil and filter change, replacement of the air and cabin filters, and a maintenance inspection.

This sale will include the original flat tire repair kit, air compressor, and a clean title. With its 6-speed manual transmission, premium interior, and low mileage, this E93 makes a fine example of BMW's only V8-powered M3.
